Ft. Jisung skz

Emery leaned on the counter, tired and stressed. The toll of the week finally catching up to her. Her shoulders shook from the oncoming tears.

It was the second week of the absence of Han Jisung. Her soulmate. Her other half.

He walked out on her, yelling that she'd never understand him. The dangers. The things he had to go through. She's never said she did. But Emery promised to listen. To be there for him.

Some people long for a life that is simple and planned,
Tied with a ribbon.

She knew she'd never understand. But she wanted to try. For him.

Some people won't sail the sea 'cause they're safer on land,
To follow what's written.

She knew the dangers. Seen it first hand. But as much as it scared her. She loved him more.

But I'd follow you,
To the great unknown.

She wanted this. With him. No matter the risks.

Off to a world,
We call our own.

She couldn't stop the oncoming tears. Sobbing as she tried to pretend it was alright, trying to wash the dishes.

Mountains and valleys and all that will come in between,
Deserts and oceans.

They've gone through so much. So much together.

You pull me in and together we're lost in a dream,
Always in motion.

It felt empty without him here. Next to her. With his arms around her.

And I, risk it all,
Just to be with you.

She had looked past all the risks and red flags. Threw so much away. Just for him .

And I risk it all,
For this life we choose.

But now, she was alone.

Hand in my hand,
You promised you won't let go.

We're walking the tightrope.

High in the sky,
We can see the whole world down below
When we're walking the tightrope.

She looked at the pictures she'd forced him to take with her. Was he genuinely happy? Did he want to be with her? Or was it the fact that they were soulmates that kept him from leaving?

Never sure, Will you catch me if I should fall?

A plate slipped from her grasp, falling to the ground, shattering.

Well it's all an adventure,
That comes with a breathtaking view.

Emery slid to her knees, unable to stay upright anymore. Staring at the broken pieces. Like her. Broken, waiting to be picked up. To be fixed or thrown away.

Walking the tightrope,

All she can do is wait and hope, he comes back. All she can do is hope.

With you, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh.

With you, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh,

With you,
