Hey guys story will be focusing on Mae's brain tumor but it will somehow get interesting I hope

Mae's POV
I waked up at a Wednesday realized it was school and game day I returned to the volleyball team last week and coach was happier than I imagined I got up and still sick I went to freshen up I took out my shorts and t shirt since I'll be changing later for the game I packed my gym bag with knee pads,bandages,water bottle,and pills for my headaches I walked downs stairs and went to the garage to see my Jeep Wrangler there all shiny
I put my bag at the passenger seat as I sat down my phone wrang I picked it up while I drove out the garage
I looked at the caller id to see Kendall's
"Hey?"I drove slowly while I talked to kendall
"Where are you?"
"I'm on my way to school what's up?"
"Coach wants us to have a meeting..he excused us from all our clases until lunch need you here now?"
"I'll be there"
After 20 minutes I arrived at school I proceeded to the lockers and changed I wore my #11 jersey and sports shorts
I walked out and saw an in completed circle I guess they are waiting for me I sat next to coach and Bethany (she's the bitch that beat me up on the first day) coach began to announce things
"Tomorrow is our nationals game if we win against brethan high we'll be the one to compete"he stands up and looks at me
"Mae is back we are finally a family again" I was touched the team needed me after whats 2 hours of the meeting when everyone leaves I was alone in the court thinking
"How am I going to tell them?"i felt eyes on me I turned around to see
"Mae?"cara there watching me
"What's wrong?"she walked down to the bleachers to where I'm sitting
"What's going on with you lately? You aren't replying to my calls and texts and to top it all of you look unhealthy..is something wrong?"I couldn't tell her I was sick I don't want people to know this
"I'm just stressed cara..baby..I'm fine"I laced our hands together and kissed her knuckles
"Take it easy in school-I know the graduation is up next week and you're in the honor roles I know it's tough but baby..please stay alive for me"she said and leaned in my shoulders hiding her face in my neck
What did she mean by stay alive for me
"Okay.."I got up and resumed my exercises just watched me there after lunch I exited the gym with her I went to the lockers following her I changed in my clothes and wrapped up everything cara was awfully silent

School went by so fast or my head was just messing with me of the ache sadly it's getting even worse my joints can't cooperate with me anymore I feel lost I can't write anything I felt useless and in pain I decided after school to go to Charlie and check things out
"Cara..babe..I'll be driving home by myself go on a head alright?"
"Alright stay safe I love you"
"Always I love you too"I hanged up and speed drive to Charlie's clinic
I waited and soon enough Charlie was waiting for me he did the normal tests last time my head was feeling worse I need to bear this
"Mae.."
"What?..us something wrong?"
"Oh my god.."he was frightened what's going on
"The tumor is getting bigger it needs surgery it's also cancerous"cancerous I'll have cancer?!
I was crying I have cancer an my mom didn't know not anyone it's just Charlie no one
"Mae...it's pretty bad we need an operation as soon as possible"he stand up and gave me a piece of paper I said goodbye and ignored the paper and just shoved it in my pack
drove home and tried to forget everything happened

Tomorrows the game

I woke up Thursday cold I went to my closet to get a hoodie with the school logo on it and did my morning activities it was game day so I was training extra hard

Game:
Coach was screaming and the crowd is roaring we were behind 16-15 the enemy is good they have thus girl that can block any ball I could hit but then something happen cara I saw cara cheering me on which gave me strength as kendall tossed the ball backset style I immediatly ran across the court it was mine I saw the girl again was already in the air I spiked as hard as I can and boom the blocker was forced at the floor the ball hit on there court it was a tie we need 2 more points to win I was spiking like crazy almost every shot was blocked but the team held its own they defended it back so I can attack it was an honor of being with them for the last time as I thought about it it's our final year together as it is It happened in slow motion I looked at kendall and the other girls I mumbled an "I love you guys"kendall tossed the ball up I jump as high as I can and spiked it so loud every one was silent

-"WE WON!"the crowd cheered and soon I was so exhausted I felt so much pain i felt blurry and tired I took a good look at cara one last time and held my thumbs up for her signaling im okay and collapsed on the floor of the gym
