Chapter 8- Apologies

Kat's P.O.V

"Percy?" I looked up from my coffee to my brother

"Yes?" He asked with a smile

"Look I'm sorry about how I acted with you, you don't deserve that. But you do know I'm still not happy with Poseidon or Sally"

"I understand that your mad, but they are both good, well moms a good person, and Poseidons a good God"

"Percy, they made a mistake and they're going have to suffer the consequinces. It's not like it's a big deal, they didn't care for sixteen years, they don't have to start caring now"

Percy nodded sadly "So do you know what your doing today?"

"I think the hunters are going to teach me to use a bow and arrow"

Percy started laughing "I suck with that weapon"

"Well then I'll just have to beat you" I smirked

"Well if your good at that you should give the whip up"

"But it's pretty" I sighed

"There are pretty bows with pretty arrows" Percy tried not to laugh

"Fine" I said "If I'm good with the bow I'll give you the whip so you can put it back. But I'm keeping the dagger"

"Deal" Percy smiled

"I think it's time for me to go" I smiled, and looked over at the hunters who were all standing up, and getting ready to leave "Bye loser"

"Love you too!" Percy said

"Mhm, okay" I said, but my smile remained as I walked away "Hey Thalia"

"Seems like you two had a good conversation" Thalia said

"Yessssssssssssss" I shrugged a bit "So?"

"So?" She asked "Oh well, we're going to teach you how to handle a bow n arrow" she said "Maybe we can teach you how to channel your power through a bow"

"Oh?" I asked and walked with her as we started out

"Well you can control water, so if your good we could teach you how to send spikes of ice, or water like an arrow" She explained

"I see" I nodded "That's cool"

Rose walked up to us "Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii" She said awkwardly

"Hi Rosie" Thalia said "What's up?"

"Nothing" She shrugged "Who's gonna be working with her" Rose kind of shrugged towards me

"Her is right here" I said in a bored tone

"Hi her, have you seen Kat?" Rose smirked and streched out her hand to shake, mockingly of course

"No, I think she's planning your funeral." I replied

"Oh thank gods, I needed someone to do that for me!" Rose exclaimed

"Shut up you two" A hunter I haven't met yet walked up

"Hi to you to" I said to the older looking girl, probably about 17-18

"My name's Cal" Cal said "Nice to meet you to"

"Kat" I replied with a half smile

"Here we are!!" I heard Ella yell

"Well we're here" I said to Thalia and she rolled her eyes, muttering something that sounded like 'just like Percy'

"Thank you" I said "I guess that's part of being a twin"
