Season 1 Pilot

Y/n POV

I was at Elena's place since I live right next to her house, I always come over here for breakfast and going to school with her and Bonnie. I was with her all summer helping her as she grieve over her parents death. I'm in the kitchen with aunt Jenna as she was trying to get everything done. I see Elena come down and into the kitchen. "Toast. I can make toast." Jenna said. "It's all about the coffee aunt Jenna." Elena said while getting coffee and getting me some as well. I smiled and thanked her for the coffee. Then Jeremy walked in the kitchen and gave me a fist bump. "Is there coffee?" Jeremy said while taking mine and drinking it. "Hey that's mine get your own." I said to him while I take my coffee back, no one takes my coffee.

"Your first day of school and I'm totally unprepared." Jenna said while looking around for her stuff like a lost puppy. "Lunch money?" She asked us. "We're good aunt Jenna." I said. While Jeremy takes the money from Jenna. "Anything else? A number two pencil? What am I missing?" Jenna asked. Elena stood next to me while she answered aunt Jenna. "Don't you have a big presentation today?" Elena asked. "I'm meeting with my thesis advisor at . . . Now! Crap!" Jenna said as she looked at her watch. "Then go. We'll be fine." Elena said to Jenna.

Once Jenna left Elena tries to start a conversation with Jeremy. "You ok?" Elena asked. "Don't start." Jeremy scoffed and then left the house. She look a little sad. I stood up wrapped my arms around her while inhaling her scent. "It's okay, he just needs more time to grieve that's all." I said while comforting her. She snuggled into my chest a little before she spoke. "I hope your right y/n." She said. With my werewolf hearing I heard Bonnie's car from down the street and stopping in front of the house.

We left the house and went in Bonnie's car, with her in the front seat and me in the back. Then she drove off. "So grams is telling me I'm psychic. Our ancestors were from Salem, which isn't all that, I know, crazy, but she's going on and on about it, and I'm like, put this woman in a home already!" Bonnie said. "But then I started thinking, I predicted Obama and I predicted health ledger, and I still think Florida will break off and turn into little resort islands." Bonnie explains. But Elena doesn't seem to be listening to her.

Bonnie looked at her seeing she didn't listen to her little rant of being a witch. "Elena! Back in the car." Bonnie said. "I did it again, didn't I? I'm sorry, Bonnie." Elena said. "You were telling me that. . ." Elena said while trailing off a little. I poked my head between the front to look at Elena. "That she is psychic now." I said then went back to the back seat. I know what grams says is true cause I've seen her do magic and she was there when I unlocked my werewolf curse by trying to not let me feel any pain, which worked. "Right. Ok. Then predict something about me." Elena said.

"I see. . ." Bonnie then gets cut off by a crow hit the window. Taking us by surprise Bonnie swerves the car and stop. "What was that?! Oh my god." Bonnie said. "Elena. Y/n. You guys ok?" Bonnie asked us. "It's ok I'm fine." Elena said. "I'm good as well bon bon." I said while I put my hand on Elena's shoulder trying to calm her the best I could. It's seems to be working as she held on to my hand. "It was like a bird or something. It came out of nowhere." Bonnie said. "Really, I can't be freaked out by cars for the rest of my life." Elena said.

Bonnie looked at me and Elena. "I predict this year is going to be kick ass. And I predict all the sad and dark times are over and you are going to be beyond happy. Both of you guys." Bonnie said while giving me a knowing look. Yes, Bonnie and the rest of our friends knows that I like Elena but I don't want to ruin our friendship so I just kept it to myself. Then Bonnie started the car and drove to school but I kept looking out the window feeling like something bad is going to happen.

We made it to school and I jumped out the car and stretched a little before I open the door for Elena to get out. "Thanks y/n." Elena said while giving me a smile. I just nodded my head. Me, Elena and Bonnie started walking in school seeing lots of our peers hugging their friends  since they haven't seen them in a while during summer. "Major lack of male real estate. Look at the shower curtain on Kelly beach. She looks a hot- can I still say 'tranny mess'?" Bonnie asked us. "No, that's over." Elena said as we stopped by our lockers. Luckily my locker is between Bonnie and Elena so that's good. "Ahh, find a man, or a girl, coin a phrase. It's a busy year." Bonnie said to us.
