Tim and Brian looked at the vial while Toby started on the fire. They had no clue what the heck this thing was supposed to be, or why some supernatural creature would want it.
"Could be poison," mused Brian.
Tim shook his head.
"This thing doesn't need poison."Toby spoke up from where he was stoking the fire.
"So you guys have no memory of most of the stuff you do?""No, do you?"
"Kinda, its fuzzy. You guys are there sometimes, you don't talk much."
Tim and Brian exchanged a look, they were doing that a lot. Tim didn't like Toby, he gave him the creeps.
Once the fire was going, the three emptied their pockets and Tim's bag to see what resources they had. What they had found was the vial, a pair of orange tinted goggles and a face mask, two hatchets, a black cloth mask with a red frowny face on it, two guns, one from Tim and one from Brian, Tim's pills and phone, and a black and white face mask. Toby picked up the two masks he hadn't contributed to the pile.
"I was right, you guys were there that night."Tim and Brian didn't respond. Tim took more pills.
"So we have no food or water, and we're lost in the woods, what now?"Brian picked up Tim's phone.
"I'd say call for help or pull up a map, but there's no service out here."Toby poked the fire with a stick.
"We-we c-c-can't leave the woods anyway. He won't let us. I've tried."Again, a shared look.
Tim shrugged, checking to make sure the camera was still recording.
"I'm not staying out here any longer than I have too, I thought I was rid of this thing a year ago. I'm not dealing with this again."
