Chapter 2

3rd POV

The cloud of crows flew around the young woman, who kept her eyes shut, in order to not fall for his Genjutsu.

"Resisting is futile" Itachi's voice appeared, and she felt getting grabbed by the neck. Instinctively she opened her eyes, looking directly into a crow's Sharingan. In the blink of a second, she found herself tied against a cross. She tried her best to get her hands free, but she couldn't even move a muscle.

"I told you, resisting is futile" Itachi appeared in front of her. He lifted his hand and grabbed her by the hair, pushing her head backwards. Now looking into each other's eyes, he cast his Genjutsu deeper.

"If you ever return home, we will make sure you will be killed"

The rain was hitting my bleeding face, I was beaten up again. My stomach hurt from days not eating and my body was close to dying.

"How could you do something like this?"

I looked down at my hands, dripping in my parent's blood.

"I never want to see you again!"

The villagers said when they cast me out.

His Genjutsu was working and tears started rolling down her face.

1st POV

I tried to fight against it, but he kept showing me memories I wish I had forgotten. I felt my body weakening and my spirit breaking under his Genjutsu. Tears ran down my cheeks, leaving burning trails, colored bloody in the pain of the past.

"Tell me everything you know about the boy called Naruto" I heard his voice in my ears, pressing onto my eardrum and making me feel like my head is going to explode. I knew I had to find a way out of his grip, before I was going to spill secrets.

"They were all killed"

I found myself running through the streets of Konohagakure, blood was everywhere and body's laid across the way. I smelled the death of so many in the air, while I kept running.

"Brother...Brother...Brother..."I heard a boy crying and stopped. I quickly went to him and picked the traumatized boy up from the street.

I will kill you Itachi Uchiha!

I thought while I broke down crying on my knees, holding the shaking boy pressed onto me.

I felt the Genjutsu suddenly release and fell onto the floor. Snapping for air, I held my throat and looked up.

"I will let you go this time, but next time be prepared to die" Itachi said and vanished in a cloud or crows. I looked around quickly for his friend, but he was nowhere to be seen. When I realized I was alone, I sat down and leaned against the wall. That was way too close! I thought and held my left eye. If he had gotten the details I knew...

Why didn't he kill me?

It came to my mind suddenly, it was because of Sasuke.

Did he let me go because of that memory? What was he doing here? Was he here because of his brother?

I had to report this to the Hokage right away! I got up and made my way to his office, still weak on my legs. Itachi's Genjutsu really took the best of me. Why was I even so stupid to open my eyes? I silently judged myself.

After I reported to the third Hokage, I remembered my promise to Naruto and hurried over to the Ramen Shop.

"You forgot me!" Naruto said, who was sitting sad outside on the ground. "I am here now" I replied and went into my knees in front of him. "Something came in between, I'm sorry kiddo" I flipped his forehead smiling and Naruto looked now angry at me. "It hurts when you do that!" He complained and held his head pained.
