3rd POV
"Mangekyou Sharingan!" Yami called out and activated her eyes, catching the attackers by surprise. It took out the last of her, but she succeeded. After making her enemies lose consciousness, she fell on the ground gasping for air. Her whole body started shaking, she wasn't used to the enormous Chakra drain that the Mangekyou Sharingan came with. In the end she hasn't use it in years.
The fight wasn't quite over yet, as she noticed herself by seeing another group of men leave the shadows.
"Be careful, she uses Sharingan! Avoid eye contact at all costs" One of them shouted and came at her. Yami quickly pulled out her special Kunai covered in my seals, then threw it far away to the right. With the last Chakra, in last second, she performed the hand signs. "Teleportation Jutsu" She called out and disappeared, just to immediately appear again, where she threw the Kunai.
She picked it up and made a run for it. She had no Chakra left and her body was barely keeping up. The men started slowly getting closer and she got an idea. Yami took a fast turn to the left and threw a Kunai to the right.
"After the Kunai!" The men shouted and she used the opportunity to get away. Yami didn't have Chakra for another Jutsu, the Kunai was just to buy a split second more time.
It didn't help in the end, because they managed to catch up to her, right before she could leave the woods. The fight was over quick this time. With no Chakra and no strength, there was nothing she could have done, against a group of men filled with Chakra. Yami refused to under without a fight, so a couple of minutes later, she was laying all beaten up on the floor.
In her head she was blaming herself, for not having brought her team. She always had to do everything herself, that's why she kept getting into those kind of situations. Her vision started to blur, prophesying her passing out soon.
Suddenly she saw one of the men fall on the floor and looked into his lifeless eyes. The next thing that appeared where screams and more sounds of body's dropping on the floor.
What was happening?
She was unable to move, close to passing out, but she tried clinging on just a bit more. Just to see what was going on and who was taking out the men. Her questions were answered soon, as someone picked her up from the floor.
Her vision cleared a tiny bit, showing a black cloak with a red cloud. Just before she passed out, her eyes crossed Itachi's.
Yami POV
I came back to senses by a pretty sharp pain running through my body. I opened my eyes and groaned. "You're awake" I hear Itachi's voice and looked to my right. He was holding my arm with his left and cleaning my wounds with his right. When the tissue with alcohol hit my skin again, I let out another painful groan. I gave my best to not make another sound, but he was going full out with that alcohol.
"Why did you save me... again?" I asked, after he finished his job in treating my cuts and wounds. Itachi didn't answer, instead he gave me a bottle of water and some painkillers. "Why do you help me?" I tried again, but he kept on being silent. I sighted and gave up. He wasn't gonna say anything. Feeling my body being overtaken by tiredness, I closed my eyes and fell back asleep.
Next time I woke up, I found myself in complete darkness. A moment I got paranoid, before I spotted a slight source of light. I then remembered how the cave was build.
Slowly I got up and bit my teeth together, the pain shot directly through my body. I was hit really bad by that attack. I was being really stupid by going out all alone again.
I made my way to the source of light, step by step, holding onto the wall. I wasn't capable of walking on both feet alone. Half way I ended up regretting getting up, since the pain has become so great, that I was about to fall on my knees.
