Holly's POV

I looked up, shocked at what just happened. I looked up. All of Charlie's friends gathered around and tried to get him to calm down. "Come on man, it's not worth it," one named Lucas mumbled. "Yeah," a guy named Zane added. "Go help the Holly up off the ground where the jackass knocked her over." I didn't think any of them would stick up for me, but they did. "Sorry about Kyle," Charlie apologized to me as he helped me up and let me dust off my knees. "I bet you need to get into class now." I nodded. Charlie took a piece of paper from his pocket, then handed it to me before running off. I watched him, then looked at the picture. He drew me, and it looked almost exactly like me. I loved the picture. I then carefully folded it and put it into my bag. I headed into my class. "Sorry I'm late, Mrs.Bowell." She just smiled at me and replied, "It's alright, Holly, your new so I understand why." I dipped my head quickly and sat in the only open seat. I had to sit between two guys because the seating chart worked like that.

Charlie's POV

After a long day, it was finally the end. The last bell rang, so I grabbed my stuff from my locker and headed to my car. I looked over and see Holly. She waved at me, then motioned me to come over. I put my hands in my pockets and walked over to her. "Hi, Holly," I said. "Hey," Holly began. "I liked that picture of yours. It was nice of you to give it to me." "It was nothing," I replied, blushing a bit. Whenever people complimented me, I couldn't help but smile. "Anyway, see you tomorrow?" "Yeah," Holly said before walking down the sidewalk. I would offer her a ride home, but she seemed content with just walking. I sighed and turned around to get into my car and drive home.
