I heard footsteps approaching. I gulped and waited. After a minute, the familiar face appeared at the bars.

"Chan!?" I whispered. I was in shock. "What the hell are you doing!?"

"I'm saving you, Hansol," he whispered back with a smile.

He took out the keys and unlocked the bars. My eyes widened. "Where did you get those keys!?"

"Eh- Nowhere. Do you still wanna go out?" he asked playfully.

"Of course, I do," I growled and followed him. I was looking around. I saw nobody. That was a little weird. "Where are any guards?" I was confused. Very confused. "Isn't that a trap?" Chan was still quiet and just kept walking on. "Chan, what's goin' on?"

He stopped and turned to me. His face was serious. "Could you shut up, please?" Chan turned back and walked on. I followed him. I was still looking around while walking out of the tunnel.

Chan led me to the main gate. There we stopped. He, after a while, looked at me. "Here we are. You're safe here already, Hansol. They will no longer follow you."

I looked around once again. "What are you talking about, Chan?" I asked him worriedly. "They'll find you and kill you."

"Don't worry 'bout me, Hansol. I can take care of myself," He said with a little smile. "Nothing will happen to me," he reassured me with a grin.

I shook my head. "No, Chan... I have a better idea. Come with me."

Chan widened his eyes. "Really? Is that what you want?" he asked a little nervously.

I smirked. "Of course," I said. "I want you to come with me."

His smile widened. Chan hugged me tightly. For a second, I thought I couldn't breathe at all. I laughed and Chan stepped away after a few seconds.

Then Chan and I sat on the unicorn. "Let's go to the capital city!"

I sat up on my bed and quickly looked around. I noticed Jisoo staring at me with an illegible face.

"Congrats, Hansol. You finally found a new friend," he spoke after a few minutes and began to laugh. "Chan seems like a great boy!" Jisoo jumped to my bed beside me.

For a second, I didn't know what to say. At first, he seemed he was angry and now he seemed he was happy. So I didn't say anything.

"I'm really glad you found him, Hansol!" Jisoo shouted. "He is in your destiny, you understand!?"

I looked at him confused. "What are you talking 'bout, Jisoo?"

"Eh, nothing," he chuckled and hugged me. "I just wanted to say that you have an amazing destiny in this story."

I frowned and pushed him away. "What the hell are you talking about!?" I started yelling at him. "You know nothing about this book! You know nothing about this story! You know nothing that I experience every night! You know nothing about this all..." I quickly looked away. Why did I say that!? Why!? I didn't want to hurt him... Never...

"Is that all?" he asked me quietly.

I didn't answer him. I didn't even look at him. I hurt him. I hurt his feelings. I hurt my only friend.

I noticed that Jisoo got up and walked to the door. He took the handle. Then he turned to me with a little sad smile. His eyes were glassy.

I should have stopped him, but instead, I did nothing. I just was sitting on my bed and staring at him.

His smile widened. "Please, promise me something, Hansol," he spoke after a few minutes of staring at each other. "Please, stay safe and mainly, stay alive 'till the end of the story, Hansolie." Then he disappeared behind the door.

I'm sorry, Jisoo. Please, don't leave me... I was just an idiot. I need your help. I'm nobody without you...
