I was lying on my bed the whole day. I felt empty. Jisoo didn't respond to my messages. I hated myself for what I did. I hurt him. I hurt my only friend. The midnight was getting closer. I sighed and rolled on my bed. I looked at the couch where was sitting my only friend and now, nobody was there. The place was empty as my heart. My heart ached a lot.

Where are you, Jisoo? I need you! I need you in my life. You were my best friend and still, you are...

I looked at the clock on the wall. Midnight. I sighed once again. Why?

The book suddenly opened and I appeared in the story again.

"Welcome back, Hansol," Chan spoke with a grin.

I smiled at him. Then I looked ahead and I almost fell off the horse. We were here.

"This is a capital city, Hansol. Here everything began." Chan sighed. "It all started with the king."

I frowned. "Go on, Chan."

Chan nodded. "The tyranny began. The king is cruel. And most importantly, he has a son. He's different than his father, but..."

"What? What happened there?"

"The magic, Hansol. That happened," Chan answered heavily. "A magic in wrong hands is evil. The magic possessed the king," Chan continued. "The kingdom was amazing. They were all happy, but now..." Chan sighed again. "Now nobody is smiling. The kingdom is no longer happy. You're the only one who can save this kingdom from the cruel king."

I was glaring at the ground. "This is my destiny, I guess."

"Yes... It is, Hansol."

I quickly turned around and noticed the person. "It's you," I said confused. "I haven't seen you for a long time." I turned to Chan who was smiling at the person. I frowned in sudden. "You know him?"

Chan nodded with a smirk. "Of course I do. He's my master."

My eyes widened. "He- WHAT!?"

"Yes, I'm his master. My name is Choi Seungcheol," the other spoke calmly. "We're magicians."

I looked at him and then turned to Chan. "You- WHAT!?"

"I understand, you may be confused, but don't forget, you're in the Midnight Realm. Everything here is possible."

I thought about it for a while, then I turned to them and nodded. I knew he was saying the truth. He welcomed me into this world. I don't know why, but I knew I could trust him. I sat down on the ground beside Chan. "I trust you, Seungcheol," I said with a smile. I wasn't at all sure what I was doing right now, but deep down I knew I was doing the right thing. "What should I do now, Seungcheol?"

The other sat down in front of us. He sadly smiled. "You must save the world from the cruel king."

I bowed my head. "I know," I said in agreement. "But I don't know how to do it." It was true. I really had no idea how to do it.

Seungcheol a little frowned and looked over towards the castle. "It's your destiny, Hansol. We cannot help you. Everything you will find out soon enough."

Seungcheol along with Chan stood up after a few seconds.

"Everything that is meant to happen will happen here, Hansol," Chan spoke calmly and stood beside his master.

I stood up as well and gave a bow. "I understand. I promise, I'll try my best. I won't let you down."

Seungcheol with a mysterious smile spoke. "We know, Hansol, we know..."

Everything suddenly disappeared and I appeared in my bed again. I sat up, as always and looked at the same place. I looked at the couch where my best friend was once sitting, but now the place was empty, again.

I quickly took my phone in my hand and wanted to turn it on, but then I changed my mind and put the phone back in place. Argh... Jisoo, where are you when I need you?
