This morning I woke up around 10:30am and immediately checked my phone. I was so excited for lunch with Kyle! Soon after, I got ready for the day. I went downstairs and made myself a fruit bowl with some orange juice. Both of my parents had to leave for work early in the morning, so I had the house to myself. I was glad because I never forgave them. Kyle was picking me up at 1pm so we could go to this small restaurant that sells soups and sandwiches. After I ate my breakfast, I went upstairs to start some morning chores. I finished by the time Kyle got to my house. I got into his red convertible and we drove off. Once we arrived at the restaurant, we went inside and ordered our meals. We had decided to sit outside while we ate. Once we got our food, we were talking about ourselves and seeing what we had in common. Surprisingly, we had a lot in common! We both love sushi, going to the beach, playing arcade games, and a lot more. After we finished our lunch, we said goodbye and he drove me home. Once we pulled up to my house, before I got out, me and Kyle looked at eachother for a second, and he leaned in to kiss me. I felt awesome. I hadn't felt like this in a long time. I never felt like someone actually loved me, I never thought someone would like me for who I am, and not just as a relationship buddy. I told Kyle I would see him Monday at school and he agreed. Once I got home, my parents were home. Normally on weekends they come home early. I tried to just walk right upstairs when I got home, but my mom called me over. She asked me where I was like nothing had ever happened. I was furious. Did she seriously forget how she treated me yesterday?! I told her that I wasn't just going to forgive her right away. What she did hurt. It made me feel like I couldn't talk to my parents about my relationship status and how I'm doing or feeling. Both parents apologized and I told them that it was going to take a little more power then just an apology. I said they had to show me that they could understand that I'm turning into a woman and I'm allowed to date. They told me they would try their hardest to let me be. I said thank you and went up to my room.
