Murderer in love

chapter 14 -_-

Sapnap quickly shut the door and yelled out "sorry I'll knock next time!"

George and dream look at each other awkwardly "we should probably go eat dinner." Dream says

"yeah, we probably should"

As dream stood up their hands disconnect and George felt a sudden felling of loneliness, he wanted to be holding his hand again, but he knew that until he told dream he forgave him, none of this would ever happen again.

George stood up and followed dream towards the kitchen where they could both see sapnap trying to be a MasterChef and throwing random things everywhere. He was covered in flour and there was mess everywhere.

"I'm now remembering why I never let you cook the food."

George slightly giggles at dreams comment he made towards the state of the kitchen.

Dream and George sit down at the counter and look at the mess in front of them.

"now boys, men might I say, close your eyes" sapnap says giving a big presentation

They both close their eyes slowly not wanting anything bad to happen, they can hear clattering of plates and a lot of commotion going on around them until they heard sapnap speak.

"and open" they both open there eyes and they see 3 plates filled with pancakes, it actually looked quite good for the amount of mess that had been made.

Dream and George looked at each other, dream shrugged his shoulders as he grabbed his utensils and started eating.

"wow this is actually good, but you know what would make this better..." he says as he walks towards the cupboard.

He looks through the cupboard but doesn't find anything.

"sap where is the maple syrup?"

"oh, I used it the other day"

"and you didn't think to go buy more"

"no...?"

Dream looked annoyed but just said "ill be back in like 5 im gonna go buy syrup."

Dream grabbed the car keys and went out the door.

"sooo, I saw you and dream in his room... anything going on there"

George kind of just looked at the pancakes in front playing around with the food trying to think of what to say, this was dreams friend he was talking to he has to think about what hes going to say.

"Im not sure really, dreams giving loads of mixed signals."

"yeah he can do that, the mans been through a lot in his life."

George was confused for a second "like what?"

"I don't really know if should be telling you this... dream was apart of this gang, he didn't want to be but he ran away from his home when he was young and he didn't have anywhere else to go, so they took him in. Ended up making him do a lot of horrible things to people in the future, things that he really didn't want to do and now he's trying to clean up the mess."

"what do you mean horrible things?" George already knew the answer he just wanted to hear it from sapnap.

"he hurts people, he's learnt how to cope with it and now it's gotten to a point where he has to do it to feel anything."

"and by hurt people you mean"

"kill them, I mean kill them, George." Sap says with a very straight forward voice trying to get George to receive the message. He continues speaking

"he used to just do whatever the gang people said for him to do, but recently he's been trying to escape from all of that and I am pretty sure the only people he has hurt recently have some sort of connection to the gang, he's really trying to turn his life around, he is.

George sat there for a second trying to process what he just heard, this entire time he though dream was some crazy person who would kill anyone for some sort of enjoyment but turns out he is just doing it to save himself.

George though back to all the times during police investigations that he has had to shot someone for self-defence. this wasn't that different.
just as George was about to say something they both heard a creak from the floors

"how could you sap... I trusted you"

It was dream, he overheard a lot of the conversation. Dream ran towards his room and locked the door.

Dream had trusted sapnap with this part of his life, and man him promise to never tell anyone, yet he broke his trust with dream and told George. He told George everything.
