After what happened last night i don't know if I'll be able to kill anyone with out getting caught.

Unless...?

What if I tried to figure out who was the lead in the investigation against me and kidnapped him? Obviously ill kill him after I'll just need to find out what they know and how close they are to catching me.

Yes, this is a great idea... now who is looking for me?

Well first I need to figure out who's the main detective for the investigation right, yeah that's a start.

Dream started thinking of all the different ways he could try and maybe call the station and ask for the lead detective, but it would give him away to easily and they could track his phone. There was so many different situations and problems dream had to think about and work his way around them.

He always wanted to be a couple steps ahead of the investigation because then he wouldn't really have to worry about being caught anytime soon.

He came up with the idea to buy an uber under the name of one of his close friends using the excuse that he lost his card and needs to go look for it, lucky dreams friend isn't the smartest of people, so it believed him straight away. This was so the police couldn't track dreams paths using his bank account.

He was then going to continue driving in the uber to a little café not so far away from his house but far enough that he wouldn't know anyone at the café. He stayed there for a bit just reading and making it look like nothing was wrong.

He then got in a cab this time to change things up make it harder for people to keep tabs on where he was going. He then went and just ran some random errands before making it to his final stop of the day which was a phone booth outside of a laundry mat.

He chooses a laundry mat because they have one of those coin machines that transfer money into coins to use for the laundry machines, but dream was going to use it for the phone booth to make a call to the police station.

Everything went exactly as dream had planned and he made it to the phone booth just as he expected, he quickly got the coins from for laundry mat and put them in the phone booth. He stood their nervously for a second before he heard the phone line get picked up.

"Hello this is Florida *town name* police station is there anything I can do for you today?"

Dream clears his throat and starts talking in a deeper than normal voice (he is very good at impersonations) "Hi this is Robinson from the FBI I was wondering if I could speak to the lead detective in the serial murder case that's currently happening."

"Oh yes I'll get him right now be right back"

Dream stood there for about 2mins listening to the holding call music before it stopped, and he heard what sounded to be young man's voice. "Hello this is George Davidson speaking"

"Hello, are you the lead detective in this case"

"If you are talking about our serial murderer than yes you have the right guy.'

"Wonderful my boss told me to call you guys and ask if you wanted any help finding this guy?"

"Wow yes that would be amazing, not gonna lie we are really struggling to find any evidence this guy is good."

"Yeah...welp I'll be over in a couple of days and then the rest of my team will come after in a few days after... oh and also its better if you keep this on the down low for a bit if the murder some how finds out about us being there it can cause him to go into hiding which even though it sounds unethical it isn't the best thing."

"Yeah, I completely understand I'll see you in a bit"

Wow what a stupid dumb guy he his, its like jumping in a pond without checking how deep it is first, dangerous, and potentially deadly and in George Davidsons case extremely deadly. So, for him it's more like swimming with sharks while your covered in whatever sharks eat.

Sorry George but if I want to be able to continue what I have to do, you have to die.

I can't believe the FBI are getting involved we are going to catch this guy he has no idea what's in store for him.

Ahhh I've never done an authors note before so this is fun, well I hope you guys enjoyed the first interesting part of the story in my own opinion if you guys have any ideas of what to add to the story please comment bellow it will be a lot of help to me
