Another Rescue

 "So this is Prince, the guy you told me about?" A light pink hedgehog asked Sonic.

 "Yes Amy, he was human before Eggman found him," Sonic answered. "Prince, this is Amy. One of my friends." He explained.

 "Any friend of Sonic is a friend of mine," I smirked trying to lighten the mood. "I feel like I'm forgetting something and that I was hit by a brick," I added.

 Ziggy ran into the room and replied, "Because your head hit a brick when you passed out." Sonic and Amy looked at Ziggy, almost as if he or she appeared out of nowhere.

 I sat up so quickly everything went white for a few seconds, "Lavender!! Sonic, Lavender is alive! You need to tell Shadow!" I stammered.

 "You don't need to tell me, I already know," Shadow remarked as he walked into the room. "But, how did you know?"

 I took a deep breath to calm my heart rate, "When I was captured, who I thought was Shadow, Infinite threw me in a cell right across where Lavender was. When the alarm sounded, all the cage doors on our floor opened and Lavender knocked out the fake Shadow." I was looking at the four of them and stopped talking, I started to realize I was crying. "We were able to find the exit, Lavender ran out. I was going to follow but Infinite caught me."

 Another Mobian entered the room along with my best friend Roger. "Pr-Prince?" Roger trembled. Roger ran up and threw his arms around me and started to cry silently.

 Sonic asked if Roger could get off, Roger let go of me and backed away. "Anyway, Infinite started to choke me to death. Lavender ran back in and saw what was happening and made a deal with him so she could save my life." I finished. Everyone in the room looked worried, even Shadow.

 "We're going to get her back right?" Ziggy asked Sonic. Roger ran out of the room and told Knuckles everything. Sonic nodded and everyone but the red wolf left.

 "Hey." I managed to say. The guy looked at me, "Promise me, take care of her if I don't make it." He nodded his head before I fell asleep.

 (Gadget P.O.V)

 Prince fell asleep, I found the others. "I'm only allowing Shadow to go along with Tailset and Ziggy." Knuckles commanded. Ziggy then whispered to Knuckles, "Okay, bring the Rookie too." he added.

 Tailset and Ziggy went up to Shadow and said they were ready, soon we were off to the Death Egg.
