(Shadow's P.O.V)
"Lavender!?" I heard myself say, Scarlet, closed her eyes like she was in pain or was regretting what she was doing, I didn't see Infinite anywhere.
Lavender looked up, "SHADOW!" she yelled. The way she cried made me realize how long I haven't seen her. I wanted to hit myself for being so stupid.
"HELLO MR. GRUMPYPANTS!" Ziggy yelled. I almost didn't hear him. "Hello? Is this how you treat a lady?" Oh, so she's female now.
"Not right now Ziggy...," I growled. Ziggy just smiled and disappeared, probably to annoy someone else. "Alright Eggman, what are you playing at?"
"Oh, it's simple really. I'm giving you two different options, you can bring me Sara and Sonic and we can trade, or tell me where the Resistance is and I'll let you and Lavender live your lives peacefully." He dictated. "I'm giving you 48 hours to decide, otherwise..., well, let's just say I'll get it either way but someone you care about will get hurt." Eggman motioned for Scarlet to take Lavender away.
Scarlet grabbed Lavender, "Shadow...," she paused. "I'm sorry." She took Lavender by her hand and led her away. The transmission ended right after that. Right when I was going to head inside I saw someone heading towards me. I got into a fighting position but Ziggy re-appeared and headed to the unknown person.
"Crap! Roger is so going to kill me if he's not okay!" Ziggy gasped.
(Prince P.O.V)
I was running where I assumed Shadow was standing, my broken leg wasn't helping at all. I breathed one last deep breath before I fainted.

When I woke up I felt like I got hit by a brick. Two hedgehogs were looking at me but I couldn't tell who they were.
"Where did they find him?" A female voice asked the other hedgehog.
"From what Ziggy told me, they saw Prince running to them but blacked out before he reached them." A familiar male voice replied back.
"Sonic? Is that you?" I inquired, one of the hedgehogs leaned in, so they blocked the light.
"Don't worry buddy, you're safe, you made it to the Resistance." Sonic smiled as I closed my eyes and sighed.
