(Jackson's P.O.V)
The artic wolf- who I later found out was Lavender- gave me a cup of cocoa, "Thank you," I managed to speak without shivering. Lavender nodded and left, I took a sip from the mug and looked up at Sonic
"Where are you from Jackson?" Sonic asked, I've heard about this so-called 'Blue Blur' to know he's a good guy, unlike so many others I've met on my travels.
"I'm from the east near a small town, well, it's more like a Village," I answered. "When I found out about my sisters' death I left, hoping to find answers to how or even where she died, I found nothing, and then the war started and I found out the Village I used to live got destroyed."
"I know what that's like, I lost my Mom in a fire, Sara and Scarlet's parents faded from existence, Roger and Tailset lost their entire family, Lavender lost her Mom from a bad illness and her Dad died from another war..., at least that's what she thinks," The rabbit- Prince remarked in a sad tone.
Roger punched a punching bag, "Life sucks! When life gives you lemons, make Lemonade. Or people take the lemons and squeeze the juice into someone's eyes," he lectured.
"You know if any of us wanted a lecture we could just go to School...," Prince rolled his eyes. Roger went up to Price and slapped him, Prince then tripped Roger.
"Alright guys, let's not start something here," Ziggy rolled her eyes getting ready to step in to stop them.
"She's right you know...," Sonic dictated. Prince and Roger turned away from each other, grumbling about how people don't appreciate a quality fight that definitely won't end in murder.
"Is it always like this?" I asked, it kinda reminded me how my sister would mess with her friends.
"Only if you live with us, this happens twice a week at our house. Roger, Prince, and I are housemates, so I'm always involved in this nonsense," Ziggy stated. Sonic nodded as if he'd visited them and saw this happening.
"Wow," I thought having an older sister was annoying.
"Try being at their house during Thanksgiving, Roger ends up starting a food fight over the stupidest things," Sonic laughed.
