Ash yawns as he begins to wake up. He rolls over and looks at his clock beside his bed. 9:30am. "Damn it's early." Ash moans. He rolls out of bed and walks to the shower. After a few minutes of running some water over his head, Ash is fully awake. After changing into some shorts and a loose t-shirt, he makes his way downstairs and walks to his fridge. He opens it and looks inside, after rummaging around looking for something to eat, Ash closes the door in defeat. A post-it note was attached to the door. Ash picked it up. "Don't forget, new job starts today!!!" Ash reads it out loud. "Oh yeah, I almost forgot. My job as the night guard at that stupid pizzeria starts today." Ash thought to himself. "Might as well go there and check in with the new boss again." He said. After putting on his converse and grabbing his leather jacket and keys, Ash walked out the door and down the stairs of his apartment and towards the garage. As he reached the corner of the large cement lot, Ash got onto his dirt bike and started the engine with a loud bang. Ash peeled out of the lot and raced towards the pizzeria, running 2 red lights in the progress. He made it to the restaurant within 7 minutes. Ash decides to park his bike around back, to leave space for customers and to hide it from vandalizers. Ash walks back to the front and is about to walk in when he sees a mother walking towards the pizzeria with 2 children and a toddler in her arms. Ash quickly races to catch up with the family and holds open the door for them. "Aww, thank you dear." The mother says when she sees him holding the door open for them. "Not a problem ma'm." Ash says with a smile. "Do you work here?" She asks as they walk in. "I actually start today as a matter of fact. I'm the night guard." Ash says with enthusiasm. "Oh?" Says the mother with curiosity. "Yeah. I didn't have much to do until my shift tonight, so I thought I would here and wait until my shift started." Ash replies. "I use to work night shifts at the hospital, that was until I had my first child. Now I work the day shifts. I'll give you some advice. You might want to bring something to help keep you awake. A book and some energy drinks, trust me, you'll need them." The mother says as she finds a table and sits down with the toddler still in her arms while the other 2 kids ran up to the stage to join the other children around watching the animatronics sing and dance. Ash shuddered while looking at the robots. "I know how you feel." The mother said, catching Ash off guard. "What?" Ash replied. "I know how you feel. They creep me out too, the robots. Ever since that incident and the murders, I still have a slight mistrust of them. But that was years ago. Even though the police did an investigation and still didn't find the bodies or the murderer, they finally said it was safe to keep the restaurant running. I trust the police, and if they say it's safe, then I believe them." The mother told Ash. "Wait... What m-murders..?" Ash asked, his voice shaking. "You don't know? You might not have been born yet. There was an incident in the year 1987, one of the animatronics malfunctioned or something and bit the face of a kid and nearly killed him. Then a few years later, 5 children were murdered here. There bodies were never found." The mother said while feeding the toddler, as if she wasn't affected by saying any of what she told Ash. "I didn't know that actually." Ash said in shock. "Well it was years ago." The mother continued. "It's likely not to happen again." She said while she got up. " I have to go and change his diaper, excuse me." She said as she walked past Ash and towards the bathrooms. "Well I'm actually gonna take your advice and go but some stuff for my shift later tonight. It was nice talking to you." Ash said as he started to leave. "You too deary. Take care!" The mother waved as they parted ways. "Way to fucking go Ash!!" Ash thought to himself. He face palmed himself. "What did you get yourself into this time?" Ash quickly walked to his dirt bike and started it back up and drove to the nearest gas station. Ash walked in and heard the bell ring, signaling his existence to the clerk behind the counter. Ash quickly walked to the cold drink section and grabbed 2 large energy drink and a soda. He turned and then went down the aisles and grabbed a bag of chips, some gum, a bag of m-n-ms, and a book. He went up to the counter and paid for everything. As he left the station with his bag of food, Ash started to think about what the mother had told him. "Was there really a murder at the place I'm working at? Did they not catch the murderer at all? What if he is still alive? What if he comes back?" Ash's mind started to face with questions like these. "Pull your self together Ash. You're over thinking things...but on the safe side you might want to bring some protection with you tonight." He said to himself. Ash quickly drove home and sat the groceries on his kitchen counter. He looked over at his clock. 10:00pm. Only 2 hours before his shift began. Ash walked upstairs to his room and sat down on his bed and let out a sigh. He reached down beneath the bed and pulled out a small safe. He quickly entered the combo and opened the lid. He pulls out a .45 caliber pistol and 3 magazines full of bullets. Ash checked to make sure they were armor piercing tips, the kinda his father use to use while he served in the marines. "He always said these type of bullets were the best to use. You may never know what you're up against." Ash recalled his father saying those words. He sat the gun along with it's extra magazines on the bed and pulled a duffel bag from under the bed and sat it beside him too. Ash stood up and got changed into his work clothes, a pair of black jeans and a white t-shirt that said FREDDY FAZBEAR'S SECURITY on the back of it and the logo on the front. He walked back over to the bed and tucked the magazines into a pouch on the inside of the duffel, then tucked the pistol into the back of his pants and pulled his shirt over it and went downstairs. Ash walked over to the counter and put his food and drinks into the duffel also. He grabbed his keys and went to his job that awaited. As ash pulled up, he decided to park at the back of the restaurant again. He grabbed his duffel and walked inside. "It's weird being here. Without the little kids screaming and the loud noises gone." Ash said out loud. He walked to the security office at the back of the building and sat down in the chair behind the desk. Ash sat the duffel down beside him and took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. He noticed a red light flashing on the phone and realized there was a voice message. He reached over and pressed play. "Hello? Hello? You must be the new security guard. Well if you're hearing this I hope you're starting off very well. Your job is simple. You watch the camera and make sure the animatronics stay in the building. You have 2 doors, one left and one on your right. Each come with a light to show out in the hallway. You have very limited power, so don't waste all of it by keeping the doors closed. Make sure you keep an eye on 'Pirate Cove', there's an fox that likes to try and run get inside of the office. It usually likes to try to enter the left door. Freddy, that's the bear on center stage btw, doesn't seem to move around a lot so don't really worry about him, but do keep your eye on him from time to time. Well thats all I got. Good luck!" The voice on the machine said, and with a click the message was over. Ash sat there speechless. After about a few minutes he checked his watch. 12:50. His shift had already began. Ash reached over and grabbed the laptop and flicked through the camera. All the animatronics were still there. The 3 on the main stage, and the one at Pirate Cove. Ash noticed that the camera in the kitchen wasn't working, but the audio was. Ash let out a breath he was apparently holding in. Ash looked at his watch again. 12:55. "It's only been 5 minutes?!?!? What the fuck!!! Ugh." Ash said. He checked the camera again and noticed one of the animatronics was missing. "WHAT THE FUCK?!?!?" Ache yelled as he quickly flicked through the different camera views trying to find it. He couldn't find it on any if the different screens. Ash slightly heard a soft sound coming from the right hallway. He remember that the phone guy said that there was a light that would shine in the hall to reveal if anyone way there. Ash slowly reached for the button on the desk to turn on the light in the right hall. As he hit the button, Ash regretted it. Standing there was a yellow chicken, it's jaw slightly open as if it was smiling. Ash slammed the button to close the door, as it slammed to a thud, Ash turned to see that it was gone. "OH MY FUCKING GOD, WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT THING?!?!?" He yelled out loud. Ash's heart was racing. He waited a few minutes, making sure it was gone, then let the door open. He checked the cameras again, but it wasn't on the stage. Ash kept looking through the cameras but still couldn't find the chicken. He turned to the kitchen camera, the video wasn't working but he could hear something moving in there. Ash pulled out his pistol and loaded a round into the chamber. "I'm going to find out what that thing is, but I am a sitting duck in here." Ash grabbed another magazine from the duffel and put it in his back pocket. He checked the cameras one last time before transferring the feeds to his mobile phone. The robots were still at the same places as before. Ash slid his phone into is front pocket before quietly sneaking out the right side door. He stuck to the shadows, completely invisible, and unheard. Ash quietly made his way down to the kitchen. He could hear pans moving and the sound of feet against tile. Ash took a deep breath and quietly snuck into the kitchen and crouched behind a counter. The robot kept moving unaware to Ash's presence. "It hasn't heard me yet, good." Ash thought to himself. Maybe I can get a good look at it before it realizes it's not alone. Ash quietly moved his way down to the far end of the counter. He slowly and silently inched up to get a better look at the animatronic. It was yellow. The way it was built made it look like a chicken. Wings and even a beak. It had violet eyes. A bib was attached around it's neck, reading 'Let's Eat' across it. It even had a slight tail. Ash softly chuckled at the sight if it. "It doesn't look so evil." Ash said in his mind. It suddenly held up a knife and Ash froze instantly. The chicken brought it down on something and it made a soft squishy sound. "What is it cutting?" Ash thought. Soon the chicken walked over with a hand full of tiny red circles and stated to place them on a round thing of dough. "That's pepperoni!! It's making pizza!!" Ash said to himself quietly. Then the chicken put it in the oven and began to walk out if the kitchen. "I should go tell the others that the pizza is almost ready." It said cheerfully to itself as it walked out the door. "Shit I almost forgot that there were others." Ash whispered to himself. He quickly pulled out his phone and checked the camera feed he set up. He noticed that the other two animatronics that were on stage now sat at a table and were moving. "Are they talking?" Ash wondered. He saw in the corner that the chicken was walking into the stage area and sat down beside the others. He waited and voted that they won't be moving again soon so he quickly flicked through and noticed that the curtains in Pirate Cove were open and the animatronic was missing. "OH SHIT!!" Ash murmured. He quickly put his phone back into his pocket and quietly slipped out into the hallway and hid behind a crate. A second later Ash heard loud footsteps almost like something metal was running. There was a blur as something red rushed by, not even turning to check behind the crates. Ash waited till it was out if sight and slowly made his way back to the office. As he walked through the threshold of the door he closed the right one and leaned against it. Ash took a deep breath and very slowly exhaled. He looked up and noticed a pair of glowing red eyes looking at him from yet left doorway. Ash yelled and quickly fired off 2 shots from the pistol, each hitting it's mark. The thing screamed and ran off. "TAKE THAT YOU BASTARD!!! I WILL NOT DIE TONIGHT OR ANY OTHER NIGHT!!!" Ash screamed at the top of his lungs at the thing as it ran off. Ash waited for any sign of a reply or movement. He quickly looked at his watch. 4:00. 2 hours left until his shift was over. "You can do this Ash." He said to himself. He went back to the desk and let the right door open again. As soon as he did a figure enter and ran at Ash. Ash yelled and jumped back aiming the gun right at the things head. It froze once it was the gun. "Move and I will turn you into Swiss cheese." Ash said calmly. "Why am I so calm right now?" Ash thought to himself. "I don't want to hurt you..." The thing said, easing it's hands in the air. Ash lowered the pistol slight, but kept it aimed at the mysterious silhouette. He reached over and turned the light towards the body, and was shocked at what he saw. Standing before Ash was Freddy Fazbear himself. "Woah.." Ash mumbled. "You need to come with me now." Freddy said sternly. "I'm not going anywhere fuzzball!!" Ash replied back seriously. "You shot Bonnie, she needs your help, we need your help!!" Freddy nearly screamed at him. Ash lowered the gun in disbelief. "HOLY SHIT WHAT HAVE I DONE??" Ash yelled out loud. "What are you waiting for then, lead the way." Ash said as he tucked the gun into the back of his jeans and walked towards the door. Freddy nodded and quickly ran towards the stage. Ash followed along right on Freddy's heels. Ash entered the room and could immediately smell blood. It left a sour taste in his mouth. He could see 2 of the animatronics on stage next to each other. It looked like the chicken was trying to stop the bleeding using some sort of napkin from one of the tables nearby. The one Ash had apparently shot was some sort of rabbit looking robot. It was blue, and it had ears like a rabbit. Ash saw the two holes seeping with blood and knew that was where the bullets had pierced. One was on his right arm and upper shoulder. Ash quickly ran over to then and looked at the wounds and exhaled. "It's not as bad as it looks. But we will need to clean them before I can do anything else." Ash spoke with confidence. "You, go to the kitchen and fill a small bowl with water and bring it back with a towel." Ash said as he pointed to the yellow chicken. It ran off without saying a word. "Freddy, I need you to find me a needle and some thread. Can you do that for me?" Ash asked Freddy. "Sure thing." Freddy replied with a nod and ran off. Soon it was only Ash and the blue rabbit. "So..." Ash started. "What?" Replied the rabbit in a female voice. "Oh my fucking god you're a girl?" Ash said in shock. "Well yeah. Bonnie is a girls name." Bonnie replied sarcastically. "It could go either way actually." Ash shot back at her. Their eyes met and they stared at each other for a moment. Suddenly they both busted out laughing. "Wow kid, I've never met someone that could actually talk back like me." Bonnie said cheerfully. "Thanks. I've never met a taking bunny before." Ash replied. "What's your name kid?" Bonnie asked. "Ash." Ash said cheerfully. "Nice to meet you Ash." Bonnie said sticking her hand out for ash to shake. "Wait till I'm done fixing your wounds, then I'll give you a hug instead of a handshake." Ash said with a grin. Bonnie smiled back. "Deal." She replied. A few seconds later Freddy returned carrying a needle and a spool of white thread. Ash took it and sat it down beside Bonnie on the stage. "Where's that bowl of water and towel?" Ash asked looking for the chicken. A moment later the chicken returned with the bowl and had a small towel tucked under it's arm. Ash walked over and helped the chicken carry the bowl to the stage. It handed Ash the towel and walked back over and stood beside Freddy. Ash hopped on stage and knelt down beside Bonnie and began to gently clean the wounds. After 10 minutes of scrubbing the blood away and stopping the bleeding, Ash started to stitch Bonnie's arm. That took about 3 more minutes. After he was done, Ash hopped off the stage and helped Bonnie stand up. "There we go, all done. Does the patient want a sucker to help cheer her up?" Ash said in a mocking doctors tone. "Oh shut up!" Bonnie shot back, slightly blushing. "I guess we can finally introduce ourselves to you now." Freddy said to Ash. "I know who you all are." Ash said. All of them stood in silence. "You do?" Asked Bonnie. "Yep. Freddy, Bonnie, and that means your Chica." Ash said looking at the chicken. "Yep that's me!!" Chica replied back smiling. "How do you know us?" Asked Freddy. "I use to come here as a little kid." Ash replied. "Oh makes sense." Says Bonnie. "Do you like pizza?" Asked Chica curiously. "Chica, nows not the time-." Freddy started to say but was cut off by Ash. "Of course I like pizza Chica. Would you like to go eat some actually?" "Yes please." Chica replied back full of excitement. Freddy and Bonnie stood there in disbelief. Ash held his hand out and Chica took ahold of it and the two went to the kitchen and retrieved the pizza Chica was making earlier returning to the stage. The group sat down at a nearby table and started to eat the pizza. Ash quickly looked at his watch. 5:55. "Damn, we only got 5 more minutes till it's 6 o'clock guys." Ash said to the group. A sad look appeared on their faces. "What's wrong guys?" Ash asked. "We wanted to talk to you some more." Bonnie said sadly. "Hey don't worry guys. I have the night shift, you'll see me tomorrow night I promise." Ash said trying to cheer the group up. "Really?" Chica asked with excitement in her tone. "Yes really." Ash said to her. "In fact, why don't we do this again tomorrow night. Meet here and have pizza and just chat?" Ash asked the group. "It's a deal." Said Freddy. "I would like that." Bonnie added in. "Then it's set!" Ash said cheerfully. A small alarm went off on Ash's phone, signally that his shift had ended. "Sorry guys. Gotta go home now. See ya tomorrow!!" Ash called over to the group as he walked towards the office to get his things. Ash decided to leave the duffel in a locker in the office, so he had it there for tomorrow. He grabbed his keys and started to head to the exit. But on his way out Ash noticed a pair of bright yellow eyes peaking through the curtains at Pirate Cove. "Who are you?" Ash asked. The eyes quickly disappeared and didn't appear again. "Oh well." Ash shrugged and walked out the door locking it behind him.
