Another x male reader fanfic of mine this time a Fairy Tail x Index/Railgun I don't own either of these franchise also coming soon and this is also one for fun so enjoy.
A/n: Here it is the long awaited prologue. I'm sorry for taking so long I wanted to write this sooner but I had to catch up to this part of Fairy Tail. Plus I had to deal with college and my other stories enjoy.
Fire and destruction that is all that can be seen. All this caused by beings thought to be extinct, dragons. The only thing that's keeping them at bay is the fire dragon slayer, Natsu Dragneel and the celestial wizard, Lucy Heartfilia. Both knew they wouldn't last much longer so they decided to send their only son, Y/n, and Erza's daughter, Violet, to the future where they can be safe. On the night before they send the infants to the future they decided to seal six dragons within their son.
Lucy: Are you sure this what you want to do Natsu?

Natsu: Yeah, I'm absolutely sure with all their abilities our son will be a force to be reckoned with.
Lucy: I can understand the other dragons, but why him why, Acnalogia!?
Natsu: It may seem cruel, but I believe he's the only one who can control his magic and make it his own.
Lucy: Alright let's do this before I change my mind.
Time Skip
The two brought their son along with the bodies of the fallen dragon slayers. After that they placed the bodies in a circle around their son and began the spell to seal the five dragons inside of their son.
Natsu: Damn... that took... alot out of me.
Lucy: Don't push yourself to much otherwise you won't have enough to seal him.
Natsu: Right.
The two began to hunt down Acnalogia but on their journey they were attacked by a small group of dragons. Natsu tries his best to keep them at bay but just as they were about to be killed the dragons were killed by a blue magic attack. Above the the two was the dragon king himself, Acnalogia: The Apocalypse Dragon. The dragon begins to shrink and becomes a man. Before Acnalogia could say or do anything Rouge and his army of dragons arrive to kill Acnalogia along with Natsu and Lucy. A fight broke out and during the fight Igneel's friend/brother Atlas Flame rebelled against Rouge buying Natsu and Lucy enough time to use the Dragon Soul Technique on Acnalogia to seal him inside their son.
Natsu: Damn... that took... everything... I got.
Lucy: Natsu!
Natsu: I don't have much time left so go send the babies to the future.
Lucy: I can't do this without you!
Natsu: I'll buy you as much time as I can now go get out of here.
Lucy: I love you Natsu!
Natsu: And I love you too Lucy.
With that Lucy left with the babies while Natsu and Atlas Flame take on Rouge and his army. On her way to the Time Gate Lucy ran into the Sage Dragon Slayer, Irene. She offered to give her power to her granddaughter, Violet, to which Lucy agreed. Afterwards Violet received the power of Irene along with already having her mother's power. Once the ritual was done Lucy continued to run towards the Time Gate and truly save these infants by sending them to the future.
