I sat in the backrooms, the moon hanging high in the sky, shining in from a window onto me. I sat there, playing on my phone and scrolling through my socials. I didn't realize hours had gone by until my boss knocked on the wall, startling me a little. He stepped in the room, looking down at my backpack, laying against the locker.

"So... kiddo, you ever planning on goin' home?" He chuckled.

"U-uh yeah. Sorry I just needed to clear my mind a little." I looked up from my phone, staring back at him.

He smiled, waving at me "No problemo! I get it, take your time."

He walked out of the backrooms, turning the corner to his office. I sat in the darkness, only still slightly illuminated by moonlight and my phone. Putting it in my pocket, I went over and grabbed my bag, ready to head back home. As I walked to the entrance of the backrooms, I froze.

Some odd colorful things flashed right in front of me, quickly exiting the door. The sound of crystallized polygons filled the empty lobby. I stared, trying to comprehend what the hell I just saw. I cautiously stepped out of the backrooms, my footsteps being the only thing I could hear In the silence, nothing more, not yet at least...

I slid my heavy bag down off my shoulder, it hit the ground with a loud thud. I wandered over to the door, looking for those colorful things, but they weren't around. I turned, going back up to my bag. As I walked, the sound of my footsteps echoed, I didn't even notice the strange looming presence. The strange sharpness that jabbed into my back was weird, wait a minute, what the hell? I turned, staring at something I knew I'd see. Well, I guess it's my time to die... the pink cube stared back at me, a smirk on his face. I think he could see the fear in my eyes.

The cube smiled "Hey, little shape..." the saws from his hands pointed at my face and body, "Let's get to the point... I'm looking for a small Cyan hero, i'll make sure your corruption is less painful if you help me find him, deal?" He smiled.

I stared, almost ready to cry. The demon laughed, "so... where did they run off to, huh? Or are you gonna be like the others..." he grinned at the last part, slightly digging his saws into me, now almost cutting skin.

"I-i'll help you, th-they went this way, follow me." I whispered, shaking a little. The cube only smiled, probably thinking he got his way.

I started leading him away from the front doors, near a certain room. This is probably a horrible idea, but at this point it's my only hope...
