Teri Zulfon Teri Palkon
mein kho jaana chahta hoon main
Uss Khuda ki kasam jisne humein jodon mein banaya hai
Na jaane mere Aqal-e-Qalb ko ho jata hai kya
jab mujhe tere aa jaane ki milti hai khabar
Uss Khuda ki kasam jisne humein jodon mein banaya hai
Ye Alam Zaroor hai ek imtehan
magar tere aane se kyun samajh baithta hoon main jannat ise
Uss Khuda ki kasam jisne humein jodon mein banaya hai
Haqiqat to par hai yahi
Iss alam ka safar hum saath karsakte hai nahi
Uss Khuda ki kasam jisne humein jodon mein banaya hai
Behter to yahi hoga ki tum
Apne raaste chale jao aur mai apne
Uss Khuda ki kasam jisne humein jodon mein banaya hai
Kyunki Agar Khuda ne nahi chaha ke humare raaste miljaaye
To phir andar se toot jaaoonga mai
Uss Khuda ki kasam jisne humein jodon mein banaya hai
Translation :
I want to get lost in your eyes and in your long hair
By the name of He who created us in pairs
I don't know what happens to my mind and heart when I hear the news of you returning from your journey
By the name of He who created us in pairs
This world surely is a test, but I don't know why when I hear about you, It feels as if this place is Paradise
(In Islam, The world is considered nothing but as a test and as an Illusion, but this line here implies that whenever They hear about them, They feel as if this place is heavenly as they think that they have heard the name of an angel.)
By the name of He who created us in pairs
But the Reality actually is that we are maybe not meant to ride this journey of life with each other
By the name of He who created us in pairs
So it would be better if you go your way and I go mine
By the name of He who created us in pairs
Because if you and I are never meant to be, then I would die inside
By the name of He who created us in pairs
