Daastaan -e- Sufiyaana

Sadness

 Hasi wo ab nahi rahi uske Chehre pe

Wo Muskurahat nahi rahi ab uske chehre pe

Na jaane kya thi wajah uski

Ke wo aaya, bistar par leta, aur so gaya hamesha

ke liye

Fir baad mein pata Chala ki wo muskan,wo hasi

sab jhuthi thi

Wo to margaya tha andar pehle se

Translation :

That emotion was no longer seen on his face

neither was that smile

We don't know what happened that

he came, lied on the bed and never got up from it

Then after sometime, we finally got to know that 

those smiles and laughs were nothing but a part of his act

Rather he was already dead inside

This little couplet only tells us that we must not assume what is going on in anyone's life, we must think before we speak anything, as we don't know how much pain is hidden behind that smile. So a small act of kindness might turn that piece of act into a real emotion.
