After planning out how we would handle the situation, we decided that we had to lay low. And what does laying low look like in the cut? Kegger of course!
John B and JJ carried the keg, Pope carried the cups, Kie had the nozzle, and I was in charge of finding a spot.
John B began filling up red solo cups as people started to arrive. He handed one to Pope but he declined.
"Your loss." I went to grab the cup but my brother held it back.
"Bird seriously?" I crossed my arms as I stood in front of him. JJ watched us argue.
"Yes. Go help set up." He shooed me away.
"I'll take it!" JJ smirked. I rolled my eyes and flipped him off.

I ended up sweetalking some kook who i've seen while working at the country club to get me a beer. I saw my brother and JJ flirting with girls, Kie talking to someone about zodiac signs, and Pope trying to flirt with a girl.
I was sitting with the kook trying to figure out a way to get away from him. "Uh so let's just make this clear, you and me, never gonna happen. Pogues and kooks don't go together. Enjoy the party!" I smiled and walked away throwing my cup down before finding Kie.
"Hey! Did I miss anything? You and that guy looked cozy." I winked at Kie.
She laughed before stopping in her tracks as her head turned toward the water. "What is she doing here?"
