Time to give a little backstory about the characters and what they do:
Yukiteru Amano: Based off Jupiter, he is the BF (and Future Husband) of Yuno Gasai. He is the 1st, as the Diary Holders refer to xem. Xe are in University now at the time of the events of the Modern Survival Game that the Deus Ex Machina created for the 2nd time since Deus Ex was revived as a god. Depending on how you see Yuki, you can call xem Yuki, Yukiteru, or Jupiter, depending on how you depitct xem. He later works as a teacher for xyr secondary school for a very high salary. He has the "Intertwining/Random" Diary, a diary that records random events/events that intertwines with other events every 10 minutes.
Yuno Gasai: Based off Juno, she is the GF (and Future Wife) of Yukiteru Amano. They're the 2nd, as the diary holders refer to her. She's also in University, like Yukiteru, but she takes the same classes as Yukiteru to stay with Yukiteru. She's either called Yuno or Juno. She later works as the principal of her and Yukiteru's old secondary school, also for a very high salary. She has the "Boyfriend" diary, which later turns into the "Husband" diary, a diary that records everything about Yukiteru every 10 minutes.
Takao Hiyama: Based off Vulcan, he is a teacher of Yuki's and Yuno's school. He's the 3rd, as the diary holders refer to him. Instead of what he was in the original manga and anime, in this fanfiction, he is also a coach at Yuki's and Yuno's school, coaching for their basketball team. Called Hiyama or Vulcan, he holds the "Coaching" diary, a diary that helps him with his coaching tactics. Later on, he is replaced by John Bacchus and later works at a different secondary school as a coach for another basketball team that wins 6 straight titles for their school.
Keigo Kurusu: Based off Mercury, he is an advisor for the police force that he works for. He is the 4th, as the diary holders refer to him. Later resigning and becoming a Sherif for Japan, he decides to take matters into his own hands and becomes a messenger for the local police force that he formely worked for. He holds the "Messenger" diary, a diary that is pretty self explanatory, it's a diary that helps him deliver which messages he needs to deliver.
Reisuke Houjou: Based off Ceres, he's just an ordinary pupil who attends school regulary and never missed a day of school. He is known as the 5th to the diary holders. At the time of the 2nd Survival Game, he is only 13 years old in this fanfiction. He's either Reisuke or Ceres, and he holds the "Mangement" diary, which is not a phone, it's actually a smart watch that records what he needs to do to keep being in the Survival Game and to keep us his grades. (It records in intervals every 10 minutes.)
Tsubaki Kasugano: Based off Apollo and references Proserpina, she is one of the last known samurai's within Modern Day Japan. She is known as the 6th to the diary holders. As one of the last known samurai in modern day Japan, she realised how much she has to prove to stay in the Survival Game. She's either Tsubaki or Apollo/Proserpina, and she holds the "Shinobi" diary, a diary which records her movements as a Samurai every 10 minutes.
Marco Ikusaba, Ai Mikami: Based off Mars and Venus, this duo are a pair of workers for a company that pays them enough for them to buy whatever they want. Later on, they become the second husband and wife couple after Yukiteru Amano and Yuno Gasai. Both are known as the 7th to the diary holders. Both later decided to take their skills into the Survival Game and it paid off. They both hold the "Intersecting" diary, a diary that intersects their skills with each others events and other diary holders events every 10 minutes.
Kamado Ueshita: Based off Vesta, she fosters many children, which Marco and Ai were whom she raised. As the 8th to the diary holders, her age could cause a risk for the diary holders to take action against her. The "Absence" diary takes note of this, and records who might be absent from the Survival Game and from her foster family.
Minene Uryuu: Based off Minerva, she's more of the outsider than anything. She feels like she doesn't fit in and is Asocial all the time. As the 9th, her being Asocial has lead to her transforming from being normal to an E-Girl. She dyed her hair white as a result of becoming an E-Girl, and got her finger nails painted black as a result of becoming an E-Girl. (Reference to Ken Kaneki of Tokyo Ghoul.) Her white hair has stayed with her because of something called Marie Antoinette Syndrome. (Another reference to Ken Kaneki.) Her hair, originally black, hadn't really affected her much because she always went through stress and never went outside much. Her "Unnoticable" diary acts more like a diary than anything, the diary records everything about her personal life and the Survival Game every 10 minutes.
Karyuudo Tsukishima: Based off Diana, he has a love for dogs in which he breeds them with other dogs. He also suffers from Albinism (The other is Edwin Nakamoto who has a combination of Marie Antoinette Syndrome and Albinism.), and his lack of social skills has made him unable to communicate with others around him. So he tries his best to make sure that he communicates with others around him. Better known as the "10th" to the Diary Holders, he holds the "Dissonance" diary, which holds all his problems and resolves them one by one every 10 minutes. Also, he's either Karyuudo or Dio, because Diana is a female name.
John Bacchus: Based off Bacchus, he's a basketball coach for the school that he worked for. He is also a Teacher, teaching an Astrophysics class, which he spent 10 years getting his degree for Astrophysics. His hair is half red, half white, which he dyed it because he wanted to try a different look for once. He also got his nails painted red and white. When the school that Hiyama coached for the basketball team needed a new coach, John filled in an application for the role of coach at the school. He ended up changing schools to Yuno and Yuki's old middle school and ended up coaching the basketball team to 7 basketball championships, back to back for 3 years. When Bacchus was called to the Survival Game, he was given the role of the 11th Diary User, and was given the "Unusual" Diary, a diary which helps him record anything he didn't notice before every 10 minutes.
Yomotsu Hirasaka: Based off Pluto, he is one of the more wacky characters. His personality makes him very wacky because he always dresses up as superheroes. His love for dress up makes him one of those people that would be hard to spot. As the 12th to the Diary Holders, his diary is the "Unthinkable" diary, a diary which can make him do anything and records it every 10 minutes.
Edwin Nakamoto: Here's some basic information on Edwin Nakamoto before I get into his backstory:
He's 6'7" tall. (200.66 cm.)
Xyr MBTI is INFJ-T.
Their Birthday is the 18th of November. (This makes them a Scorpio.)
He is the friend of Yuno and Yukiteru.
Their hair is white because of two things, Marie Antoinette Syndrome and Albinism.
He has Grey Eyes because of his family heritage.
He is based off of Saturn.
Xyr pronouns are He/They/Xyr.
Now, with the Backstory: Edwin Nakamoto is a 3rd Year University Student who according to xyr friends, is similar to Yuno Gasai, but he says he isn't like Yuno at all. He knows Yuno Gasai well enough for her to say he isn't like Yuno at all. Edwin is more of a literature student, who hopes to become a mangaka (This is someone who writes manga's. Manga's are Japanese comics.) one day, and he likes to play around with electronics. He has a 5G smartphone in which he isn't afraid to show off, and he is more humble than most of xyr friends. He is somehow chosen as the 13th diary, and he is given the "Imaginative" diary, a diary which gives him imaginative thoughts and the diary records it every 10 minutes.
