Avengers Compound

When the team arrived back at the compound, Wanda went straight to her room and wouldn't come out or let anyone in, even Pietro who was just worried for his sister. Florence dragged Pietro to the debriefing -which they wouldn't normally go to if they didn't take part in the mission- to find out what happened without hearing any twisted stories from the news.

In the room was Nat, Steve, Sam, Pietro, Florence and Harry who was on video call. Steve did most of the talking as he was next to Wanda, meaning that he saw everything.

Nat and Sam sometimes chimed in with their opinions or answers if Steve asked them something. Pietro was tense the whole time. All he could think about was if his sister was going to prison for what happened. Not even Florence's presence or contact could calm him down, he was stressed beyond belief.

Once the debriefing had finished, Pietro stormed out of the room, probably going to try and get into Wanda's room to talk to her. Florence rose out of her seat and began to walk out of the meeting room when Sam came up next to her."He's gonna need you, she won't want to talk to anyone, even him."

Florence stopped and turned around to face him, "I know, but he's gonna close himself off until he sees her. I just hope she doesn't get arrested," Sam nodded in agreement, "but we can't control the courts and what they decide goes. If she was to get some type of punishment, I hope that it's like house arrest. She would be able to stay here with us and not be separated from her brother. All that would happen is that she wouldn't be on the field for a while, till the toffs see fit."

"I hope so, for her sake, his and yours. You've grown really close to her and I know you couldn't stand to see him stressed. Even in there just now, you hated seeing him like that." Florence started to look upset, Sam noticed this and brought her into a hug. Her head resting on his chest as she began to silently cry, her tears staining his shirt. They stood like this for a couple minutes till she calmed down.

"Shit sorry Sam, kinda got your shirt damp." He chucked and shrugged it off. "I just don't know what to do for once. How am I supposed to comfort him when I don't even know how he's feeling. I've never had any siblings, all I've done is bloody well shot me mam and dad." Florence slid down the wall, bringing her knees to her chest and crying once more.

Sam crouched down to her level, bringing his hand up to her shoulder. "Hey, I know life hasn't handed you the best cards. But what you need to do right now is keep your head up and be there for the both of them. If they want to be alone, respect that, but let them know that you are always there for them if they need anything."

She nodded and wiped her tears away, "Thanks Sam, you always know what to say. I guess that your experience with the veterans comes in handy for dealing with us lot." The pair chucked, Sam patted her back in comfort.

"I know, you guys always need help, but I'm happy to help. Now go and find the freaky twins and do what I said." Florence slightly scoffed at Sam's nickname for the twins and smacked his arm lightly then pulled him in for a short hug.

Now she was on her way to try and help her stressed boyfriend and her best friend who had locked herself away from the world.

Florence turned into the corridor where everyone's rooms were and her heart broke at the sight before her. Pietro was on his knees, his forehead against the closed door leading to Wanda's room. The Maximoff man was begging her to open the door. "Wanda please I know you can hear me, just let me in." His voice was breaking, tears falling down his face, not showing any signs of stopping anytime soon.

"Please sister, let me know you are alright, I love you." He spoke in their native tongue, hoping she would reply to him in some way. Wanda's scarlet tendrils latched onto the door handle, making sure nobody could get in, Pietro saw this and let out a large painful sigh. He stood up and left Wanda's door and walked into his and Florence's room, closing the door behind him. Florence was left alone in the corridor
