Happy 500  💛

Every relationship (or whatever Chan and Changbin was) needed some sense of loyalty and honesty to the start of it.

Chan knew that, which is the reason why he had Hyunjin over at the moment.

"You haven't called me in a while." Hyunjin pushed his hair back from his face, drawing Chan's attention easily. "What's the occasion?"

Chan was leaning forward on the kitchen table with his phone clasped in his hands. "Well, I wanna talk about...us."

Hyunjin nodded, expecting nothing less. It had been a week so he figured Chan had just kind of given up on him. He stood up, making his way to Chan. "You're done with me? Is that what this is about?"

"I..." Chan didn't really like confrontation - he'd rather everyone be happy even though he knew that wasn't really possible.

Hyunjin was in front of him now, hands reaching out and resting on his shoulders. "You're going to drop me just like that, really?" Chan averted his eyes, looking off to the crooked painting hanging in the kitchen.

"Are you sure you can do that?" Hyunjin placed his head in the crook of Chan's neck. "Push me away and I'll stop." He kissed spots along his skin, hands reaching downwards to fiddle with his belt buckle.

Chan was ashamed to say how far he'd let Hyunjin go along, far enough to unzip and almost pull his pants off his hips. "Hyunjin. S-Stop it!" When he finally got to his senses, Chan grabbed Hyunjin's wrists and pulled them back and off his body.

"I'm sorry but...no more."

Hyunjin really didn't know where he went wrong. Then again he knew Chan was never really going to be his since the beginning. Hyunjin tried his best to show as much love as he could when he was with Chan to try and distract him but it didn't work in the long run.

Changbin though? Of all people?

"Really Chan?"

He didn't look at the younger, he couldn't. Chan never really liked when people were mad at him, it just made everything unbearable to think about. "...I'm sorry."

"Fine...Just know he doesn't love you and he's not going to love you anytime soon...at least not like I would have." Hyunjin scoffed as he grabbed his jacket, shaking off the arms trying to grab him and left, making sure to slam the door behind him.

"Fucking drama queen, am I right?"

Changbin had been upstairs the whole time, waiting for Hyunjin to leave before he came downstairs.

Specifically requested by Chan.

He tossed himself down onto the couch, patting his thighs for the older to sit. "Come." Chan wordlessly made his way over to Changbin, sitting on his lap and resting on his chest.

"What's the matter?" Chan was super stiff and it was obviously noticeable. Whenever they were this close Chan would move as close as he could to Changbin since he knew the moment wouldn't last forever.

"You're not caught up on what Hyunjin said are you?" Changbin had enough of Chan not looking at him so he grabbed him by the jaw - turning him so they could hold eye contact.

Chan could lie but he knew he was a bad liar. Plus, Changbin was really observant when he wanted to be, he'd never get away with it. "You'd be a fucking idiot if you believed anything he said."

Changbin pecked his lips softly, thumb stroking over his cheek. He was a little concerned that Chan still hadn't answered him. "I...I'm not exactly ready to drop 'I love you's' but it's...I can- eventually."

He was really struggling to find his wording and Chan could see that. He was trying hard to speak on a topic he wasn't even used to and that alone made Chan's heart swell. He knew what Changbin was trying to get across.

"Okay, I understand what you're trying to say. Thank you, Binnie." Chan placed his hands on the male's cheeks, pulling him down for another kiss.

"I appreciate it."

Changbin hummed against his lips, bringing his arm up to cup the hand on his face, the other holding onto Chan's hip. He slowly pushed the male down onto the couch, holding Chan as close as possible. Changbin swiped his tongue over his bottom lip, licking into Chan's mouth and immediately feeling the small metal ball on Chan's tongue sliding against his own.

When Chan pulled away he hid himself against Changbin's neck. He always felt so hot after he'd kiss him like this.

"I know it doesn't seem like it now...but I know that I can love you the way you deserve."

Changbin absentmindedly combed his fingers through Chan's hair, lulling his own self to sleep while Chan on the other hand couldn't help but lay awake and think about Changbin's words.
