"Hey, Channie? Can we talk?"

Chan's fingers stilled, looking up from his laptop and to Changbin who was sitting on the couch. "What? Why? What happened?"

He knew his face drained in color and he probably looked terrified as fuck from the way Changbin immediately set aside his papers and patted the space next to him.

"Chill out. It's nothing bad." He sat beside the male, Changbin taking his legs and throwing them over his own lap. "I just want to talk."

"Okay..." Chan reached for his hand and held it tightly. He couldn't really help but feel anxious despite being reassured that everything was okay.

"...about us?" Using his freehand, Changbin caressed the older's knee to try and ease his nerves just a little.

"Yeah. How'd you figure?"

"I feel like that's the only thing we haven't talked about yet."

"Right."

They sat in a comfortable silence, eyes following some random movie playing on the screen in front of them.

Changbin sighed, turning more so he was facing the other better. "Well- just bare with me because talking about this is a little difficult." His voice was a bit strained but Chan understood him better than anyone else.

"I understand. Take your time, Binnie."

And he really did take his time to express how he'd been feeling for the last couple of weeks.

"I know we didn't really have the best start to this-' He gestures between the two of them "-and I wish I could go back and change how it all went down but obviously I can't." He slouches.

"I wasn't the best to you, I apologize for that. I'm working on being better and I hope I continue making you happy like now."

Changbin was about to continue but Chan was quicker and interrupted him. "You're doing great right now, Binnie." He moved closer and pressed a kiss to his cheek. "I'm really happy with you."

A genuine smile was brought to his face. "Okay good." He pulled Chan closer by his legs, basically plopping him on his lap. "I don't wanna be dramatic..so i'll get to the point."

"Will you be my boyfriend, Chan?" Changbin stares with wide eyes, looking extremely nervous as if he didn't know that Chan was smitten with him from the beginning.

"Of course I will." Chan pecks his lips lightly then moves to hide his face between Changbin and the couch.

"You know?" He pulls away to see Changbin giving him a questioning stare.

"This was pretty gay of you, Binnie."

Changbin scoffed, grabbing Chan by the back of his neck and kissing him once again as a way to shut him up.

"No homo to that kiss by the wa-" A hand was pressed against Chan's mouth.

"Don't ever say that to me again."
