Chapter 1
It's been a few months since Eden left Chase. She filed for divorce. She bought a house in Dawsonville so the kids could still see their dad and grandparents. She got a job at one of the local dinners. And when she wasn't working she was spending every second with the kids. Chase was racing go karts and doing pretty well just like his dad. Casey had her dancing and gymnastics and cheerleading. Liam was t ball and soccer and Izzy was soft ball. It kept her busy. Chase sent her money and she used it for the kids.
She was at the diner working. Their neighbor was watching the kids. She didn't see him come in. But the other waitress comes over.
"Someone is requesting you." She says.
"Oh really?" Eden asks.
"Yes and he is kinda cute in a un kept kinda way." She says laughing.
Eden laughs too. She walks over to the table. Chase was sitting there. It was the first time she saw him since she left. He looked awful. Scruffy, longer hair and lost some weight.
"What are you doing here Chase?" Eden asks.
"We need to talk." Chase says.
"About what?" Eden asks.
"Us." Chase says.
Eden sighs.
"What do you want?" Eden asks.
"Put in whatever is good and please join me for dinner." Chase says.
"I can't I'm working." Eden replies.
"Take a break." Chase says.
Eden goes and puts the food in she ordered them both chicken parmigiana. She took her break and sat down and ate with him.
"I am sorry for how bad I hurt you Eden. I should have never said what I said. I know you weren't happy and I know Kris did it to make me think other wise and I gave him the satisfaction." Chase says.
"You hurt me Chase. I am not a whore. I didn't know they were filming and that was when I realized I could never be happy because they wouldn't love me like I deserved. That I was just a play toy to them." Eden says.
"I know I'm sorry. But we really need to talk. " chase says.
"Not here." Eden says.
"I know." Chase replies.
They finish their meal and even had dessert. Chase pays.
"Thanks." Eden says.
"Keep the change baby." Chase replies.
Eden nods her head. She goes back to work. When she finished she goes and grabs her bike. She was about to ride home when she noticed Chase was still there in his truck.
