Later the next morning Eden and Chase woke up tangled together.
"Best way to wake up tangled up with my wife." Chase says.
"I am not your wife Chase not anymore." Eden says.
Chase lifts her hand.
"See this ring baby it's permanent so I don't care about legal paper work or licenses you are my wife." Chase says kissing it.
"Chase I want to take it slow this time. We never really dated. Yes I know we have been friends forever but still. I don't want to rush into anything." Eden says.
"I know I'm just saying. Your name is still Eden Elliott so you are my wife." Chase says.
Eden laughs. She didn't want to fight. She snuggled close to him for a few more minutes.
"We better get up we have a lot to do." Eden says.
They both get up. They make sure they were packed and ready to go for tomorrow. They then head and get the kids up. It was nice doing it together. They head downstairs. They had a low key day and just played board games, video games as a family.
"Hey why don't you too go out tonight just the two of you." Ryan says.
"That's nice Ryan but we can't leave the kids." Eden says.
"Jess and I will watch them." Ryan says
"You've been watching them while we were focused on Casey. We don't want to impose anymore then we have." Chase says.
"You guys need to do couple things too. And like you said you were so focused on Casey. Go out and have a date night." Jess says.
"Yes we will watch the kids." Ryan says.
"Okay." Chase and Eden both say.
Chase had plans for them. They both tuck the kids in together. Once they were asleep they go and get dressed. Eden put on a black dress and heels and Chase put on a black dress shirt and jeans. They head downstairs. Ryan and Jess were sitting on the couch watch Tv
"You kids be safe and make sure you have her home by midnight." Ryan says.
"Don't listen to him have fun." Jess says
Chase and Eden head out to his truck. Chase opens the door for her and she climbs up and in. Chase then goes and gets in. They head out.
"I can't believe this is our first official date, date." Eden says.
"I know baby." Chase says.
They head into the shopping strip. Chase turns into the Hooters parking lot. Eden sees it and shoots him a look.
"You can't be serious right?" Eden asks.
"What?" Chase asks.
"You are not taking me to hooters on a fucking date." Eden says.
