I DO NOT OWN ARROW
.
"So what do you think? Great spot for a nightclub or what?" Oliver asks with his arms open as Diggle, Tommy and I walk in to the old warehouse behind him that was previously owned by the Queen's.
"Sweet. Though I got to tell you, man, if you're thinking about calling it Queens, I don't think you're gonna get the clientele that you were hoping for.
"Private office." Oliver says pointing out into the distance at a room.
"For the private one-on-one meetings, I would imagine." Tommy replies.
"Hopefully the occasional two-on-one meeting." Oliver jokes.
"Gross." I say rolling my eyes, "Guys these days. Have no chivalry whatsoever." I say, "Ollie, you sure you want to do this? It's not like you really have any experience in running a well, running anything." I point out as I turn spin around, taking in the site. I stop and turn to face Oliver whose just staring at me but Tommy gladly says something.
"How about tomorrow night the three of us, we go and scope out the competition." Tommy suggests and I nod along.
"There's a new club opening downtown. It's called Poison." I explain, "Max Fuller owns it."
"Max Fuller?"
"Mm-hmm." I hum.
"I slept with his fiancée." Oliver says with a ghost smile.
"Really? Jeez." I groan.
"Yeah, before the wedding. It was at the rehearsal dinner." Oliver explains.
"The rehearsal dinner is technically before the wedding." Tommy adds and I just shake my head in disgust.
"Right? And besides, who stays mad at a castaway?" Tommy says just as his phone rings, and he pulls it out and checks it, "Ah, dammit, I got to roll. Anyway, I'll see you later, man. Good place."
"Bye Andrea." Tommy smiles
"Bye Tommy." I say giving a wave. He then bids Diggle goodbye and walks out of the warehouse leaving Dig, Ollie and I.
"So," Oliver says facing Diggle, "what do you think?"
"Well, I'm here to provide security, sir, not a commentary." Diggle replies all business like.
"Oh, come on, Dig, do me a favor. Speak freely, please."
"Yeah, lighten up a bit." I grin, nudging him slightly with my shoulder as I walk past him to look around more.
"Well, this is The Glades, right? Your rich white friends wouldn't come to this neighborhood on a bet." Diggle says speaking his opinion.
"I am Oliver Queen, right?," Diggle nods and I just roll my eyes, "People would stand in line for 3 hours if I opened a club."
"Whoa, okay Oliver, just turn the ego notch down a little." I say giving him a look.
"And no one who actually lives in The Glades would see a penny of those cover charges." Diggle replies to Oliver's comment.
"So we make it a successful business, we gentrify the neighborhood." Oliver explains.
"I was wondering when we would get to that." Diggle says and Oliver moves his head slightly, telling him to continue, "The white knight swooping in to save the disenfranchised. And all by his lonesome with no help from anybody."
"Wow. You don't think very much of me, do you?" Oliver asks shaking his head.
"No, sir, actually, I have a very high regard for how perceptive you are. Sir." Diggle replies before walking out of the warehouse.
