Nini Salazar-Roberts didn't like kids. It wasn't like she hated them or anything, but being around them made her want to crawl into a hole and die. They were sticky, small, and cried all the time, and Mr. Pablo's daughter wasn't an exception━however cute she may have been.

But, luckily, Gina seemed to be a natural with kids. She smiled, and crouched down to say hello to the little girl.

"I'm Gina and this Nini," she introduced them to the four-year-old, who looked up at her with big brown eyes, her dark ponytail swishing when she waved back at her excitedly.

"I'm Isabel," the little girl said, grinning with all the teeth she had. "Are you here to play with me? I really need someone to be Polly Dolly's best friend!"

"Of course, we'll play with you!" Isabel cheered, accepting Gina's playful high-five.

"No, we won't. Nini's got some very important big girl things to do." Nini put her bag down near the coffee table on the rug, getting out sheets.

Gina looked to Isabel, who looked somewhat concerned. "Don't worry about Nini. She's just a big 'ol poopy pants." Isabel giggled hysterically. "I'll definitely play with you!"

Then, the hour began and Nini watched in awe as Gina ran around with Isabel following beside excitedly, making her giggle while they made silly faces, sang songs, and even let her paint her face.

She broke out in a smile when Gina turned around with horribly drawn black swirls on her cheeks, bright yellow panda eyes, and over-drawn garishly red lips.

"Who invited the circus?" Nini spat out a chortle. Gina flashed her eyes, and Nini tried her best to swallow her laugh when she saw Isabel looking at her with a frown. "B-because, you made Gina look so pretty, you must be a magician!"

Isabel huffed, stamped her foot, and pulled on Gina's arm, "Come on, best friend! No Nini! Let's go play! Outside play! Outside!"

"Come on, let's go," Gina let the little girl pull her along, into the back garden. She turned around before stepping through the door to stick her tongue out at her.

Nini rolled her eyes and scrunched her nose in response. Refusing to move from the couch, she opened the giant folder and began her work. Nini took out a sheet with Mr. Mazzara's budget information sheet and started calculating how much it would cost for catering, then moved on to set the final prices for tickets before she got to the decorations.

She slammed her pen on the page━there was not enough money for the tree. They'd have to cut back on the money for catering but, if she did that, there wouldn't be enough food for everyone. The cost of the special cupcakes alone would slice the budget, and she hadn't gotten the price of the DJ from Ashlyn yet.
