Marinette: It's ok. I miss you guys like crazy! I'm going to audition for this modeling agency, which also lets you design outfits. It sounds fun!
Alya: Nice! Good luck! Don't forget me when you're famous!
Marinette: Haha, never!
1 week later...
Marinette: guess what? I made it into the modeling agency!
Alya: Congrats! Is it fun?
Marinette: It is! We're going to have a small fashion show at the end of the first week. One of us could maybe end up on vouge. And I made some new friends! But no worries, you will always be my first and best friend! How are things with you?
Alya: Ok. Everyone misses you, but otherwise, Chat noir and me work well together, but I can tell he misses you. Not that many Akuma attacks so far.
Marinette: Awww poor kitty! Send him my love! I gtg
Month 6:
A: Hi Marinette! Do you have time 2 chat?
M: Mhm, just finished my vouge photoshoot
A: Wow, you're so glamorous now! Also, since when did you have TikTok, I just followed you, but you have like 200k+ followers already!
M: Oh, right I forgot to tell you qwq, I was really busy designing a new outfit. It might make it to a fashion store and people could buy it!
A: Ooooh, what's it based on?
M: I did ladybug and chat noir, so people could learn more about Paris's superheroes. It's a ladybug crop top with a black skirt and green waistband. Also comes with a chat noir necklace. It's really cute!
A: Sounds awesome! Will we be able to get it?
M: If the fashion people like it, maybe!
A: That's so cool! You're a supermodel now! When you're totally famous, don't forget about me!
M: I won't, I promise! Only 6 months till I'm back!
Paris, month 11
At the Francoise Dupont school, gossip is in the air.
"Did you hear about that supermodel in London? She's actually from Paris, and she might be moving back into our school!" says a student. Her friend says "Oooh, I love her fashion work! She created the ladynoir outfit, right? I followed her on TikTok, Snapchat and basically every social media platform she's on! She's so cool!"
Meanwhile, Alya, Rose, Juleka, Alix, and Mylene are in a chipper mood. "Marinette's coming back in one month! I miss her so much! 1 month seems like another decade" complains Rose.
"I know girl, we all miss her!" says Alya. "Let's get ice creams to celebrate that Mari's year in London is almost over, and Marinette is coming back!" "Ooooh, that sounds fun!" says Mylene.
Adrien and Nino chat in front of the school. "Hey, did you hear that Marinette's coming back?" asks Nino. Adrien's mind is somewhere else. Ladybug should also be coming back soon. Scarabella is awesome, but she's not ladybug... "Dude? you there?" asks Nino, concerned. "Oh, yeah sorry! That's awesome! I hope the rumors are true and she is moving back!" says Adrien.
Suddenly, a pink monster appears out of nowhere. "Scarabella and chat noir, give us your miraculous!"
Great, here we go again, thinks Adrien. "We have to go hide!" he says.
"We have to go hide!" says Alya to her friends. They all run in separate directions.
"Tikki spots on!"
"Plagg claws out!"
a few minutes later...
"Bye-bye little butterfly! Miraculous Scarabella!" "Pound it!"
The heroes go back to their homes and detransform. Can't wait till Mari's back, this is getting stressful, thinks Alya.
The first time she did this, everyone was surprised. "Where's ladybug?" they asked. Alya had to give a speech. "Ladybug gave me her miraculous, and I will be the new ladybug, you can call me Scarabella. Ladybug will be back in a year, but something came up in her life so she had to move. I will keep you guys safe till she's back! My name is Scarabella and I promise I will fight every Akuma and try to keep everybody safe! Thank you!"
People got used to her and began cheering her name. They never forgot ladybug though...
Month 12:
Marinette: Guess where I am?
Alya: On vouge? On a runaway?
Marinette: Nope, I'm on a plane
Alya: ...
Marinette: I'm coming back!
Alya: OMG hurry up we miss you so much! I can't wait! Seriously tho, tell the plane to hurry up! When you get back I will hug you to death!
Marinette: Lol, I miss you too bestie! I'll see you tomorrow! :D
