Andy & His Half Clogged Brain

I look over the city from this view point, though being here is not allowed that didnt stop me from hiding from all the guards at the entrance and climb the short distance to reach this small hill. There are other view points on the taller hills but going there is quite dangerous, people have tumbled down the hill on trying and have end up with a broken leg or two.

The view hasn't changed much with times although my life has. I had proposed Sofia right here ,I wanted to share this spot with her and ended up creating a beautiful memory that now haunts me. Its early in the morning so its quite chilly up here with fog wrapped around the hills like cotton candy on a stick. Today's the day of the trial though I have Robert on my side and Im still scared for an uncertain future. Still engrossed in my thoughts I receive a call from Robert who tells me to meet me at his office

"Robert , you're all set?", he's standing outside his office and by the looks of it was waiting for me

"Yeah was just going through my files one last time until you're brother interrupted me", though I heard him clearly say the word brother my face expression feigned as if I hadn't heard him

"Sorry ,what did you say?", I ask him

"You're brother", he emphasised these words , "Came to see me and to 'wish me luck' " , he sarcastically said ,"Go on hes inside".

His words make no sense to me until I enter the room and see the person inside waiting for me

"Hey man , how are you", he says while coming up to me and hugging me

"Hey", I say in return . We put few inches between us after we part from the hugging I turn to Robert who's now in the room with us

"Robert you're mistaken, how come you didn't recognise him" , this is David my colleague

"I know Andy , you're colleague and brother . Right David Jones?', he addressed David with my surname and now is talking to him and completely ignoring me

"You were wrong David". He says while moving to his desk and picking up his phone , getting ready to dial someone. David moves to where Robert stands and snatches the phone from him

"Robert this is not what we wanted"

"This is so wrong", Robert says to David who lets Robert take back his phone and starts dialing again.

"Whats going on here?", I ask as I was being left out. David comes back to me and guides me towards a chair where I sit down.

"I'm gonna start from the beginning Andy it my get confusing or may be a little bit hard to take all in but what you need to know now is the truth. Its the only thing that can save you". David had turned my chair so that I was looking at him directly while Andy was on the phone talking to someone.

"Andy I am you're big brother David Jones", I start to stand up from my chair but he pushes me back down

"You need to believe me because I am the only person who knows how when we were kids and were playing Operation I actually tried to use real knife on you . You have a mark on you're stomach because of a little cut made by me right? And if not then tell me I'm wrong ", he was right, David Jones was right

"And do you remember how you once confided in me about the emotions you felt when you saw you're crush kissing someone else? I guess you were eleven or twelve",

"David , what"s happening?", I grit my teeth but plead him at the same time.

"We might not have a lot of time so listen carefully, Exactly a year ago, you and Melina were having martial issues and it reached to such a point that you had even started hitting her", I shake my head not believing what he was saying but my refusal angered David as he grabbed my shoulder with pure rage
