We were at the hospital. I was sitting on the bed as the doctor unwrapped my bandages. It was kind of hard to breathe ever since I fought legend. And the gash? Well, the gash started bleeding again.
Doctors: "Definite stitches. When I checked your breathing, it was off. I'm gonna have to take some
x-rays. But let's stitch this up first."
He took a needle and put it in my gash. It was filled with stuff that numbs the pain. Then he went in and started stitching me up. Once he finished that, he took my for x-rays. He brought me back to the room with the McKellans.
Doctor: "I will be right back with the results of the
x-rays."
He left.
Moz: "This could be very serious. Might mean no more tae kwon do."
Y/n: "But I love it though. Just like you love football."
Candy: "Sweetie, the severity of this injury could take it away though."
Shaka gets up and sits on the hospital bed beside me.
Shaka: "Sometime you have to let things go, even if you don't want to. I had to leave Seattle, and all my friends."
Moz: "I stopped playing football to live here."
Cocoa: "And I.....I didn't really leave anything but the house behind, I like the people here more."
She said laughing.
Jeb: "We all have to make sacrifices sometimes."
Candy: "Plus, there's always other things you can do."
The doctor walks in.
Doctor: "I have good news and bad news. Good news is she doesn't have a punctured lung. Bad news is,
Y/n has a broke rib, this is the end of tae kwon do."
I put my head down as Shaka rubs my back. The doctor said I'm lucky it didn't break off. I have to go into surgery to move the bone away from my lungs right away.
~Time Skip~
Y/n: "Sh...Shaka."
I woke up to Shaka crying at my side.
Shaka: "Y/n!"
He hugs me.
My mom gets up and leaves to find a doctor.
I take my hands and wipe his tears.
Y/n: "Why are you crying?"
He looks at me slightly confused.
Shaka: "You didn't know....you've been in a coma for 2 weeks, and today, everything that I did reminded me of you. I came to check up on you, but I couldn't pull myself together..."
Y/n: "I was in a coma....for 2 weeks......"
