Shaka: "They moved your surgery to the next day instead of when you got your stitches. I couldn't come because I was redeeming myself against Bruce. I called your phone to tell you how it went but your mom picked up. She said your surgery almost... killed you...and you were in a coma. By the time you had gotten in the operation room, the rib bone had punctured your lung. They took it out but couldn't fix your lung. They ended up fixing it after a while but you had to be...."
Y/n: "Be what?"
I said, now crying with him.
Shaka: "Resuscitated..."
Y/n: "So...I died...."
Shaka: "Slightly....that was the day that I could never leave my room. For a week..."
He pauses.
Shaka: "and it gets worse..."
I look up at him, wiping my tears. He lays in the hospital bed next to me. He can't look me in my eyes.
Shaka: "You have to relearn to walk..."
Y/n: "I- what....I can't- walk..."
Shaka lets a tear fall even though he's trying to be strong. He quickly wipes it away.
Shaka: "The bone hit a nerve too...."
The doctor comes rushing in with my mom. He explains everything. The surgery. The coma. Leg therapy. Everything. I get to leave in a week, and I'll definitely walk again. I still have to relearn how...
