Remember Our Parents' Wedding?

Daniel: "Oh, no, this ring is fake! Where'd you get this?"
Shaka: "Squee's pawn shop."
I laugh.
Y/n: "Y'all got Squeed!"
Daniel hits my arm.
Daniel: "This is bad."
Mazzi: "Wait, so you know him?"
Y/n: "Everyone knows that hustler, man."
Daniel: "Don't worry, I'll take care of this."
Both the boys sigh. I hug Shaka.
Y/n: "It's ok. Daniel will fix the problem."
Mazzi: "Have you met our Uncle Daniel?"
I let go of Shaka.
Y/n: "Touché..."
Shaka: "This best man stuff is too much pressure. I am never doing it again."
Mazzi: "Good, because I was thinking I'd ask Elvis to be mine."
He patted Shaka's shoulder. I try not to laugh as Shaka looks at me. We follow Mazzi to the other side of the room. The next thing I knew, everyone was screaming.
Ami: "Mommy!"
Cocoa had passed out.
Moz: "I got her."
Jeb: "She'll be alright. Let her get some air."
Moz lays her on the couch.
Rosalind: "Somebody get this child a pork chop, stat!"
We all look at her.
Rosalind: "And while you're at it, bring me one."
The boys start fanning Cocoa.
~Time Skip~
Shaka was pacing as Mazzi and I sat on the couch.
Y/n: "Shaka...come sit down-"
Shaka: "I got it! We'll say we got jumped by a group of pirates and the parrot swallowed the ring"
He sat down next to me. I laid on my back on his legs.
Mazzi: "That's stupid."
Y/n: "Exactly. They'll never believe that it was pirates."
Shaka starts playing with my hair.
Mazzi: "Tell them it was werewolves."
Shaka: "You're right."
Y/n: "Welp, this is hopeless."
I say covering my face.
Shaka: "Remove your hands. I'm trying to see your beautiful face."
He says slowly moving down my hands. I smile a little. We hear the door open.
Mazzi, Shaka: "IT WAS WEREWOLVES!"
They say turning towards the door. I sit up and slap my face.
Y/n: "Aye yi yi...."
Daniel: "What? Never mind. I got the ring back."
Boys: "Yes!"
They get up and run to him.
Y/n: "How'd you do it?"
I say crossing my legs on the couch.
Daniel: "Well...I made Squee an offer he couldn't refuse."
He said mimicking someone. I get up and walk over to them.
Daniel: "Now, let's put this up in a safe place, yeah?"
Shaka: "Thanks, Uncle Daniel. You're the best."
Daniel: "Nah, you're the best...man."
They run up the stairs. I go to the parlor to grab my phone when I run into Mr. Jeb.
Y/n: "Hey Mr.Je-"
Jeb: "Shh! Look."
We see Daniel rub his arm where his watch used to be in silence. He leaves the house.
Y/n: "Aww man, Daniel traded his watch for the ring."
Mr. Jeb walks away.
Y/n: "Where are you going?"
Jeb: "I'm planning to get my family's watch back."
~Time Skip~
We were at Mr. and Mrs. McKellan's 2nd wedding. Don't worry, they're just renewing their vows. We all stand as Cocoa gets walked by her mom to the alter.
~Time Skip~
Jeb: "And by the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife......Again."
We all laugh.
Jeb: "Son, you may kiss your bride."
He dips her and kisses her.
Jeb: "And now, for the broom."
Daniel: "Now, this broom has been in our family for generations. In other words, it's not official till you jump it."
He sets it down.
Moz: "Okay, you down?"
Cocoa: "Yeah."
She says picking up her dress. They jump it and we all stand and clap. Their family took so many pictures.
M'Dear: "Y/n! Get in this one!"
Ami: "Yeah, you're family too!"
