Green eyes

His green eyes
Feel like a disguise.
Behind which lies
His darkest fear.

Her eyes are green,
A light I had not yet seen.
She makes me feel like a teen.
It had been over a year.

In his green eyes
I see something rise.
Oh how I hate those guys
That act so rough!

The colour green
Makes her seem like a queen.
I should come clean
But it is tough.

His eyes are green
And yet so mean
Making a scene
To push me away.

Her green eyes
Contain the real prize.
Know I must apologize
To make her stay.

This colour green
Seems almost obscene
As both their eyes
Are hiding a mask.

What does it mean to apologize
If the thing you despise
In you still flies,
Ignored the real task?

If you want to you can encourage further experiments by commenting a line or a word, which I'll then somehow include in a new poem :)
