It's been a few days since Faye visited, the notes were still coming. I have even tried severally to catch the person leaving the notes but my efforts was futile. I think the person got the idea I was trying to catch him because the notes stopped coming the usual time.
Anyway, I decided to go see Mom and Dad today. It's been long I spent time with my lovely parents. I took a bath and got dressed in a beige colored short and jacket and a white crop top with some matching heels and handbag. I let down my hair to Cascade down my back. I put on my sunglasses and drove to my parents house.

"My princess" my dad opened his arms wide hugging me....gosh I've missed this
"Hi Dad, mom" I said, hugging mom
"We thought you weren't going to visit as always" dad said but mom nudged him in the stomach
"What's important is that you are here and we are happy to see you. Come on in" mom said dragging me inside
On getting inside, the smell of mom's cooking infiltrated the whole living room. I couldn't help salivating. Mom took me to the dinning table which was already set with numerous delicacies
"Oh wow, are we having guests over or something?" I asked taking a seat
"You know your mom takes advantage of every chance she gets to cook and now she has out done herself" dad teased
"Of course, I want to spoil my baby" she sat down and we served ourselves, ate and chat about lots of things. I have to admit, it was nice
"Thanks guys for the food and everything you do for me" I smiled looking at my plate. Dad placed his hand on top of mine
"You don't have to thank us, we are your parents and we love you. We just hope we can do more for you" dad said
"Yes baby. Your dad and I have been thinking...." She stopped and they both shared a look
"Thinking about?" I furrowed my brows in confusion
"Honey?" Mom looked at dad and he cleared his throat "well princess, we think you should start dating again, get out there, explore. You're young, beautiful and intelligent, any man would be lucky to have you" dad said
"I'm sorry but I can't" I withdrew my hand from under Dad's own, I could already feel my eyes brimming with tears. Mom came to sit close to me
"It's been three years now baby, you have to let go and move on. Ash won't be happy seeing you like this you know" I felt the hot tear stream down my cheek "he wouldn't want you to punish yourself by being alone" mom said sadly
"I'm trying my best mom but I still can't forget or get rid of the guilt I feel. I'm emotionally scared" I sobbed
"Don't say that princess, you are our daughter and you're strong. We'll get through this ok" dad said hugging me now.
