"Hello Tetsuya."

"What's the feeling?"

Akashi shakes his head as he shoves his hands into his pockets. "That's not the way you should greet someone."

"You asked me to meet you here everyday, at six in the afternoon, so you could tell me what's the feeling. Isn't that the reason why I'm here?"

Clicking his tongue, Akashi sighs. "Tetsuya, I told you to come here everyday at this timing so you could find out what's the feeling, not get a direct answer."

"And why's that?"

"It's not that simple, Tetsuya." Akashi grabs Kuroko's hand gently, guiding him into Maji Burger.

"Why're we going in?"

"You like vanilla milkshakes."

"You're stalking me."

"Maybe." The red head simply says, getting into queue and buying a vanilla milkshake. "Here."

Accepting the drink, the reincarnate takes a sip, nodding at Akashi as a simple thank you, but only to realize the red head was staring at him intently; not directly into his eyes, but more like his mouth.

When the two walked out of Maji Burger, Akashi spoke his mind.

"You don't hum."

Kuroko blinks. "Pardon?"

"You don't hum in satsifaction when you're drinking a vanilla--" Akashi stops himself, realizing his mistake. "No. It's nothing."

Ignoring the taller man's slip of words, Kuroko decides to focus on a topic he finds more important. But before the words left his mouth, Akashi cut in.

"I told you, Tetsuya. You'll have to find out what that feeling is."

"...How did you know what I was--"

"ESP." Akashi smirks and Kuroko wonders if he would ever stop smirking.

"Of course. Where are you taking me to?"

"The park. I want to have a talk with you."

Kuroko didn't know how, but he ended up talking to Akashi for hours.

It started out as small talk; Akashi introducing himself and then a description of his life. He never knew talking to Akashi could be this interesting, and started asking questions, although there were a few moments where Akashi chose to remain silent.

Apparently Akashi really loved someone, but his lover died in a car accident which took a big piece out of his life. Then he met Kuroko, someone who looked just like him.

"That person was really special to me," Akashi says and Kuroko could hear the bitterness in his voice. "When he...passed on, I couldn't sleep for days."

"Then why bother falling in love when it can make such a huge impact in your life?" Kuroko asks and Akashi looks up at him, quite abruptly. Then the red head sighs and runs a hand through his hair. "Tetsuya this is why it's not that easy for you to understand what the feeling to make you smile is."

"I don't understand. If you make friends, or love someone and if they betray or leave you, won't it just hurt you more?"

"But at least it's better than being alone."

Kuroko tried not to wince at his sentence. "Don't say that."

"Why not?"
