Burying his face into his hands, Akashi thought about what happened the other day.
He had managed to save Kuroko, but not himself. After seeing the man he loved 'dead' the second reincarnate...he...
Committed suicide?
Why would he do something so reckless? Then again, Akashi himself had a few thoughts of an early death after the real Tetsuya passed on.
So it was really no good? Saving a reincarnate would only have the opposite effect?
And then there was that hooded stranger. He knew all about the reincarnates. He knew all of them had to go.
And he knew who he was.
He blinked in slight surprise when he heard the chirping of birds and realized that he was sitting on the bench just outside Maji Burger. What was he doing here again?
Ah, that's right. He was supposed to be waiting for the third reincarnate to arrive.
"Third?" Akashi thought aloud to himself. "So only two have gone by?" He grit his teeth in frustration and bitterly spat out, "Just eighteen more, Seijuro."
It really was a heartbreaking thing to see the man he treasures more than anything in the entire universe fall to his death over and over again. Akashi was glad he had strong willpower. If not, he would have gone insane a long time ago.
"I really do wonder how the next one is like." He ponders, trying to distract himself from much more...disturbing thoughts. "It's already been an hour or so." The red head muses as he looked down at his watch. "Is he not going to show up?"
Standing, Akashi decided to walk around infront of the fast food restaurant and tried to keep a look out for a certain teal head.
That is, until he bumped into someone.
"I apologize--" He caught himself when he turned around to help up the person he bumped into and chuckled in amusement.
Of course it would be the reincarnate.
The third reincarnate of Kuroko Tetsuya frowned as his vanilla milkshake got knocked out of his hand, spilling its contents all over his clothes. "I doubt this is something to laugh over." He huffs, getting to his feet. He looked down at his milkshake-stained shirt in annoyment.
Akashi picked up the empty cup of vanilla milkshake and threw it into a nearby waste bin. "It's my fault, I'm terribly sorry. I wasn't looking where I was going." He apologized sincerely, taking out a handkerchief from his front pocket and offering it to the reincarnate who took it hesitantly.
"You really should pay more attention." Kuroko grumbles and Akashi raised a brow. So was this reincarnate supposed to be a temperamental one of some sort? He wasn't sure since this reincarnate seemed to be more irritated than angry.
"I try the best I can." He told the teal head with a smile, the reincarnate puffing out his cheeks in annoyance. "Try harder."
"Alright, alright, don't have to get too fussy now." Akashi says, trying to hold back a small snicker. "How about I treat you to a new cup of vanilla milkshake? Does that sound good?"
Hesitatating, the teal head sighed before slowly nodding, looking away a bit in embarrassment. "Don't expect me to thank you." He mumbled under his breath, making Akashi laugh inwardly. "I didn't say you have to."
"W-Well you made it seem like you wanted something in return." The reincarnate retorted, but stopped when Akashi grabbed his hand and brought him back into Maji Burger.
