We all stare at my uncle as he opens and closes his mount for the fourth time.
"C'mon, Henk! Just tell them!" Mateo commands.
My uncle just stares at him, not saying a word but at last he does. "I... I sold Emily to him 9 months ago" he says staring at his family, so I'm not included in that...
"YOU SOLD ME!?" I yell, looking at him, disbelieve coating my face.
He sold me? To him? Wait what?
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THAT, HENK!" my aunt screams and I swear I see steam coming from her ears, but he just looks at her.
"You don't understand-" he starts but soon is interrupts when the doors open and Celeb shows his face. "-Sorry bro that I'm late, something came up" he says and stalks over to Mateo "What did I miss?"
"Not much..." Mateo says irritated and soon after Sebastian comes inside the room as well is Olivia. She looks around and scowls at Stephanie. "Please tell me we didn't miss the best part?"
"No! Not at all, the fun has just started!" Celeb answers.
Sebastian just stands there, looking at his boss, waiting for his commands. I take a glance at Mateo and see that his jaw is tense. "WOULD EVERYONE BE QUIET AND LISTEN TO WHAT THIS ASSHOLE HAS TO SAY!" Mateo yells and everyone is silence right now.
My uncle clears his throat and starts talking "So, as I said I sold Emily to Mr. El Ricci but I didn't had a choice-"
"-DIDN'T HAD A CHOICE?" I snap, yelling at him "WHAT ABOUT ME? DO I HAVE ANY SAY IN THIS?"
"YOU DON'T" he yells back, giving me the dead stare. "YOU RUINED OUR LIFE 13 YEARS AGO AND-"
"-I COULDN'T REALLY CHOOSE WHEN MY PARENTS DIED, YOU KNOW" I scream feeling the pain from 13 years ago back but I push the feelings away. I can't go through that pain again.
Tears are filling my eyes but I blink them away, refusing to cry in front of them.
"BUT YOU DID ANYWAY! YOU RUINED EVERYTHING! YOU AND YOUR PARENTS RUINED EVERYTHING I'VE GOT AND RIGHT NOW YOU WILL MEET THE CONSEQUENCE" he yells.
"What do you mean by that, dad?" Stephanie asks.
He turns to her and answers her question, a smile plaster on his ugly face. "Nothing, princess, but I made a deal with Mr. El Ricci 9 months ago, as you know the company isn't doing good... I needed money, a lot of money... and Mr. El Ricci was so nice to give that so we sign a contract..." I look at Mateo, seeing he is enjoying this. "...The contract says that if he marries Emily then he will give me money in return"
"So they just need to marry and that's it?" she asks.
"No, Emily will do everything he ask and I mean everything!" and he looks at me.
Everything? Also...sexual? GOD NO!
I feel the tears rolling down my cheek but I wipe them away.
Stop crying, Emily! Stop crying!
"So... I'm his slave or what?" my voice cracks, I look at Mateo "And what about yesterday? The contract?" I ask. "Was it all fake?"
"What contract?" He says, playing it cool "Do you have it with you now? If so, we can work things out" and he just simply smirks.
God, what would I love to slap that smirks out of his face!
But then something hits me... that's what he meant yesterday with 'It was not a difficult choice by the way. I would have chosen you, with or without the contract just now'
