So this is just things to keep in mind when you draw bodies

- first of all you should practice first from the waist and up, because you should focus on that first

- You should start by practicing the head, and the neck (portrait pov)

- after you can form VARIOUS sketches , because you didnt 'master' drawing it just because you could do one decent sketch, you should be able to do various

- when you are practicing portrait pov, you should TRY not to use reference, try to remeber it and memorize it so one day it will come fluid and you dont have to come back to this book (not in a bad way or anything btw)

- after you finish portrait pov and you do various sketches, you should take it completely until the waist including arms

- If  you feel like you should practice something more, go ahead and sketch that body part separately, dont avoid it bc your the one who has to improve, your not doing any good to yourself if you avoid getting better at something :/

- try to look up references for IDEAS, not to copy it, it serves as practice

- you can draw as many reference lines as you want, theres no limit

- after you finish drawing your own base (the body with all the lines and references), you can look up characters that you like and  add them to the base that you drew

Keep in mind this, I really wish I could tell this to my past self lol
