DJ's Point of View
I wish I had let George explain. I wish I had the power in me to call him just to hear his voice. To let him come back into my life, one of the only things that had made me happy anymore.
It was graduation day. Outside it was pretty warm, roughly 75 degrees.
Jeena's parents were cheering the both of us on when we went to grab our diplomas.
I was almost disappointed when George didn't even show up. But Andy did.
Who am I kidding, I am disappointed. To the maximum.
There was a small breeze that kept everyone from getting heat flashes, and it was a perfect day to graduate.
Almost perfect.
George was in England when I asked. I figured Andrew had a small feeling I missed him, but I was too stubborn to try and get in contact with him in anyway.
It hurt to say his name. Or even think about him for that matter
I didn't want to throw my cap in the air, only because one, it was kind of stupid, and two I didn't wanna loose my hat.
I looked behind me and saw Andy and Jeena talking, so I figured I'd go join them.
Until my nosy self showed up to the party.
"He's still with that whore?" Jeena said.
My heart sank, because I knew who she was talking about.
Alexis.
"Yeah," Andy sighed. "I tell him every day he should leave her."
"And?"
He was silent for a few seconds, thinking. "He won't listen. What's new?"
"From what you've told me so far these last few weeks he seriously seems to feels horrible." Jeena lied on his chest.
These last few weeks? What has she been hearing?
"He thinks this relationship with her will make him move on. Especially the sex," he said. "He doesn't realize it, but it's actually making him sadder every day."
"You've been with him all the time though, right? Making sure he doesn't... do anything to himself? She said, almost afraid to even ask.
"Yeah." He cleared his throat. "You haven't actually told DJ about any of this, have you?"
"No." She answered, almost immediately. "I know for a fact she'll completely loose it and break if he was hurting himself. She doesn't show it, but I know she misses him. Maybe we need to put them on a blind date or something."
"That's not a bad idea."
I gasped, and marched up to them. "No!"
She's we're shocked when I appeared from behind them.
"DJ!" Jeena thumped my head with her thumb. "How long have you been standing there?"
I would've told them the entire time, but I didn't want either of them to know I knew George needed maximum security on his life. Plus, the fact he was still with Alexis.
"Um," I bit my lip. "Just for the last part."
I knew she wanted to sigh of relief, but she held in all of the air that was sucked in. "Oh, okay."
Before I could protest like I hand not heard a think, Andy spoke first. "Look at my little graduate. So cute."
I watched as he picked her up, and kissed her all over her face. At first it brought me joy seeing them so happy.
