March 9th, 1984

I tied my rollerskates together and threw them over my shoulder. Instead of going home after school, I drove straight to the nearest roller skating rink. Even though it was such short notice, I was luckily able to reserve a spot from the times I had given George. I was so happy when George called me and said that he and Andrew were on their way.

I wore the most retro 70s outfit I could find. It may have been silly, but I liked it. My rollerskates were white and the wheels and stopper were a dark blue. So I had dark blue knee socks on with neon lightning bolts on them. My outfit consisted of black capris and a neon yellow tank top. Today was going to be warmer than usual, so I didn't think I needed a jacket.

I begged the crap out of Jeena to at least wear something like me because I didn't want to feel like an Idiot, but she refused. Eventually, I stood in the mirror for a while and did a lot of "modeling" until I felt like I did look good.

"Would you hold my wallet?"

"Sure." I took hers and put it in my bag. She was driving. The only reason they were driving here themselves was so they didn't cause much attention if we were picking them up. Headlines would be more interesting if two girls were caught with them.

When we got off of the elevator, we saw them coming in.

"Hello, miss neon," George said.

"If no one is going to be here but us, then my outfit is going to be all-out retro," I said.

Andrew stepped in. "Yeah George. I think DJ looks great."

"Hey, don't start flirting with my girl." George pulled me close to him after swatting the back of Andrew's head.

"No fighting. Let's just go before someone recognizes you guys." Jeena laughed and took her boyfriend's hand.

"Yeah... you guys go out to the car. We'll be out." George sounded worried, which made me a little nervous as to why this was going to be discussed privately.

I saw him wink at his friend, in which he returned.

When they walked out, I saw Andrew unexpectedly cover her with his jacket, like they were about to get attacked.

"What's going on?" I asked

He looked at me with doughy eyes. "Considering both Andy, and especially me, are going out with women at the same time I think the press and paparazzi are going to find us at some point. We really want to keep your faces hidden so you don't have to get crowded around and put in danger in public." He held my face with his hands. "We would hate for something to happen to the both of you. Is this something you're okay dealing with?"

I sighed. I would've said yes anyway, but his sincere, softened face was really playing with my heartstrings. I kissed him with my arms around his waist and then hugged him. "I can handle that."

"Good, I'm glad." He breathed out a sigh of relief.

"Are they here now? Is that why Andy covered her face?" I asked, becoming a little stressed.

"We suspect they followed us, or are somewhere close. That's why we decided to bring two of our bodyguards. Andy is probably explaining how she can't drive, since we're taking an SUV." He laughed to try and lighten the mood.

I blew out a puff of air. "Well, this just got serious very fast."

"Yeah I know, I'm sorry." His mood dropped again.

My heart sunk to see it. "No, It's not your fault at all. I should've expected it since I'm in a relationship with a celebrity."

He nodded. "Okay, like I said I'm not sure if they're here yet. But in case they are, or they're hiding..."
