Corpse had been playing Rory's song nonstop since she had sent it to him. No one had ever written a song for him before and it was by far the most meaningful gift he had ever received from anyone. And the fact that it had been given to him by Rory made it even more special to him. He was truly falling in love with her and he wasn't ashamed to admit that.
All day both Rory and Corpse had been in their own rooms where they had said they were doing work, but neither of them had actually gotten anything done as all they could think about was each other. More specifically, the kiss. After it had happened, the two ended up watching movies on the couch for the rest of the night and they didn't bring it up again. It was a bit of a spur of the moment thing and they both decided to see how it would play out, but the fact that neither of them could stop thinking about it told them all they needed to know.
They wanted each other.
As Corpse sat at his desk, replaying the song for the millionth time that day, he decided to finally make a move. He wasn't sure if Rory was busy and so he didn't want to go to her room and disturb her so he texted her instead.
