Antonio POV:

One minute I was calling out for the guy to jump, and the first miss caused the elevator to slip, I tugged on the rope Adriano gave me and he tugged back, so I went further down in the hole to try and reach him. I could feel the elevator starting to slip.

"Jump again, quickly it's about to give away!" I hollered out, he looked up at me with tears in his eyes and says his last words.

"Take care of Naomie please." he knew it was going. I heard Naomie scream his name as the ground dropped out from under me and I was yanked back by my brother to the safety of the floor. My heart broke as I heard the fear and pure heartbreak in Naomie's voice as she calls out for Charlie and passes out on the floor.

My dad scoops her up instantly, I take the rope off my waist and take her from his arms as he nods at me and leads the way to the stair well. The deafening sound of the elevator hitting ground floor shakes the whole building as a blast of air comes up the elevator shaft.

With dad's quick pace we make it to the main floor in no time, and we walk out the back doors and straight into the waiting limo before we take off. With Naomie in my arms I pick up my phone and call Marshal. The phone barely rings twice before he answers.

"Hello?" he asks confused, I didn't block my call but that was the least of my worries.

"Someone sabotaged the elevator at the hotel you suggested. You have a mole or you tried to set us up. Which is it?" I was livid, but I felt so calm. That is the Ricco trait, you knew not to fuck with us when we go quiet calm mad.

"Why would I set you up? Charlie is my best friend and I really like Naomie to. She is perfect for my friend. What happened?" he sounded to panicked to be the one behind it, I felt in my gut that he didn't set us up.

I look down at Naomie sleeping in my arms before I told him the truth. "Naomie had a bad feeling, I told her to always trust her gut, so we left. The elevator cable was cut, we managed to get out thanks to Charlie knowing what to do. But he made sure he was the last one in the cage and it let go before he could get out." I couldn't not tell him, that was his best friend. The line went silent for a few minutes, I gave him time to process.

"Naomie." he whispered. I looked down at her features admiring her cute pixie nose.

"She passed out when the elevator dropped. We need to meet and discuss finishing this, today." I growled out, feeling the need for revenge.

"I agree, meet me at my summer home on Admiral Ave, house number 3846." I hung up the call and relayed the address to the driver. I turn to my dad and brother. "Get Vincent and everyone else to Marshal's summer home. This ends tonight." the drive took about half hour, thankfully Naomie stayed sleeping.

We pulled up and Marshal greeted us with two others that I didn't know. I was still cautious as this is a newly developed friendship.

"This is my mother and father, they have been helping me get people together to take over my Uncle's business." after introductions we went into Marshal's office and put a plan together. My dark side itching to kill anything that gets in my way, for Naomie and for Charlie.

Naomie POV:

I feel like I am falling, which causes me to sit up in bed and take a deep breath. My heart beating a mile a minute as I gain my bearings. My dream was that Charlie and I were in an elevator that started to fall and he pushed me into Antonio's arms and fell with the elevator with a smile on his face.

Tears streak down my cheeks as reality crashes and I remember why I passed out. Charlie was gone. I threw myself back into the bed and cry harder, a soft knock on the door has me taking a couple deep breaths to try and calm down but the tears don't quit.
