Losing The Past

Part 16

Naomie POV:

I woke up with a start, I was having a nightmare about Blade finding me and kidnapping me. I have a major headache and my heart feels like it's ready to beat out of my chest at any moment. I take deep breaths and keep my eyes closed as I try and calm down. I haven't had one of these nightmares in a few years so its strange that I did now.

Laying back down I reach over to feel Chuck but the other side of the bed is cold, in confusion I open my eyes and to my shock I am not in Charlie's room. Where am I? Confused I sit up and its a fancy room with beautiful décor. I am completely confused until the all to familiar form of Vincent walks into the room, I gasp in surprise as I see Blade walk in behind him.

I grab the blankets and pull them higher up to cover my body as my heart starts beating wildly as I try not to panic. It wasn't a nightmare, I was actually found and kidnapped, as it all came back to me the two intimidating figures stood in front of me with smirks on their faces as I panic.

"Well that really isn't the kind of greeting I was interested in after the wonderful date we had last night, or was I the only one enjoying myself?" Vincent snarled out with venom laced in every word, I flinched.

"I agree princess, you did really good hiding from me, until you went on a date with my cousin and he did some research on you and came across me looking for you." he smirked as he crossed his arms. I noticed he has buffed up over the years, I was worried what was going to happen to me. I looked down in my lap, feeling ashamed of what I did. I mean, it really wasn't my idea to spy on Vincent, I am not that kind of person and I hate what I did but you do what you have to just to survive in this world.

"You have the nerve to look ashamed when I found you that you are working for Arthur Catelli as one of his spys?" Vincent grit out angrily, again I didn't say anything but tears started to sting my eyes. I don't even know what to say, I started this journey off being kidnapped to be sold for sex trafficking for fuck sakes.

It is like that is the straw that broke the dam, the tears flooded my eyes and ran down my cheeks relentlessly. A loud sob wracked my body and I wrapped my arms around my body trying to hold it together a little longer, but it was hard. The reality of the whole situation has finally broke me and I wasn't sure if I could be fixed.

"Crying won't get you out of this sweetheart." he sneered at me, but there wasn't as much anger behind his words, but I couldn't control it I just cried. I heard the door closed and just laid down in the large bed and muffled my cries and sobs in the pillow. I felt the bed dip before I felt a hand start rubbing my back. I can't even bring it in me to see who stayed, probably Blade because I was supposed to be his.

"I want you to know that I gave up on you Naomie. It has been seven years and I realized what I did was wrong. I actually found someone who loves me for me and I love her to. We have a little girl together and let me tell you, that is what made me realize what I did to you was so wrong." Blade spoke softly as his hand rubbed circles on my back. When I wasn't sobbing and could talk I looked up at him, tears still pouring down my cheeks.

"You really love them? Then why kidnap me?" I question feeling a little more confused. He smiled sadly at me before hesitating to speak.

"Family, my cousin had a bounty out on you because of you trading information to Arthur." the realization hit me, it wasn't my hiding from Blade, it was my association with Arthur Catelli and Charlie. I sobbed again this time feeling stupid, I felt Blade pull me into a hug and I berried my face into his neck and cried. The door opened and a very pretty girl walked in carrying a baby in her arms.

"Is this the girl?" She spoke softly, I felt Blade humm as he nodded his head. The woman came closer and I pulled away from Blade, he stood and took the bundle of blankets wrapped aroundhis daughter before standing up. The girl sat down and pulled me into a hug and just held me.
