Rehearsal Studio

Rico, Nathan, Mark, Perf, and Bamboo were sitting comfortably in a coach with a water bottle in hand. They were taking a break from their rehearsal for the reunion concert that will happen in a month.

Fixing the shattered relationship was never an easy ride for the members. The pain and heartbreak each one of them experience after the disbandment took years to heal. The friendship they shared crumbled right before their eyes like a sandcastle and all they can do is stare. But God always makes miracles. What they all needed was time. Time to heal. Time to forgive. And time to rebuild what was broken. A gift not everyone was given a chance to have.

A lot of things have changed in their life.

Rico Blanco remained a solo performer and a bachelor.

Nathan has his band, Hijo, after Bamboo disbanded.

Mark remained part of Rivermaya and is happily married to the singer-actress, Jolina Magdangal.

Perf made a living as a guitar instructor in the US, he only went home to the Philippines for the reunion concert.

Bamboo was doing great as a solo artist like Rico and is divorced for three years. His relationship with his ex-wife is civil for the sake of their two children. He has long moved on from the separation and is happy for her in finding a new partner in life.

"Hey, man. Is it true you are dating the sexy actress, Christine Reyes?", Rico asked Bamboo. The other band members were smiling widely at the question.

"What? No, man. We were just working together on an alcohol product. No more, no less." He answered while shaking his hand. "No time for that man." He continued while laughing.

"Why not?" Nathan inquired. "The woman is sexy as hell, man. Ang daming may gusto sa kanya."

"She's single, right? You are single also. Walang mali, 'bro." Mark insisted.

"Yes, she is sexy and beautiful but not my type. Alam niyo yan." Hahaha.

"Habulin ka talaga ng chicks Brad. Every woman would want to have a taste of Bamboo Manalac." Perf said teasing Bamboo, who was shaking his head vehemently. Everyone laughed at what Perf said.

They all continue to tease Bamboo about the women he worked with and his rumored affairs.

After awhile, Bamboo's manager, Sir Pancho, turned on the flat-screen TV in the studio to watch one particular evening show, Tonight With Boy Abunda. He is an avid fan of the night's guest.

"Kuya Panch, di ko alam fan ka pala ni Tito Boy." Rico jokingly said to him.

"Hindi noh, yong guest niya ngayon ang gusto kong makita."

"Sino ba guest niya ngayon? Or baka 'yong fast talk segment ni Tito Boy and paborito mo? Sumbong kita sa asawa mo, kuya Panch." Lahat ng tao sa studio ay tumawa sa sinabi ni Nathan.

"Puro talaga kayo kalokohan. His guest tonight is one of my favorite singer-actress in the country. She's pretty controversial these past few months. Her break-up is the most talked about issue in the industry. Everyone wants to have a piece of information. Supporters and haters alike."

"Oh, I have an idea who you are talking about, Panch. I'm even surprised she agreed to be the guest tonight. I mean, lots of issues have been thrown in her way but she always kept quiet and let the rest of the world express their opinions." Mark remarked.

"You're right. I am sure that people are glued to their seats and tv screen tonight to watch her interview. The question is, will she answer all of it? Or she will just laugh it off like she always does?"

"You two, care to make the rest of us part of the conversation?" Rico exclaimed.

"Who are you talking about?" Bamboo asked curiously while looking at Pancho and Mark.

Mark and Pancho looked at each other and knowingly they uttered together, "The Sarah Geronimo."
