V. Faithfully mistaken ghost

'Hey, stop it boy'

Yup!..That was my pet. Spikes! A cute dog....

And a very faithful one.

It just happened like this...

I woke up thirty seconds late (not exactly late) but to me, each day I woke up late even it meant 0.01 minute ( I know I am sounding real punctual but trust me, I AM NOT!)

Anyway, I woke up with a big smile on my face cause' it was my D day.

What I mean,

I had scored the highest marks in my recent tests in my class and to congratulate me, my cousin (she was a close friend and a classmate of mine, although we stay a little bit far from each other) surprised me at my home with a gift that was a dog. She was the one who named the cute animal, Spikes.

Trust me! It was really hard to get that dog! I literally stayed till midnight each day revising through all the chapters again and again until finally.....!!!

Anyway, I just couldn't help showing off my dog to my next doors when I took it for a walk in the afternoon. The dog was big, big enough to protect me but its cute face always lets me get it what he wants. Once, it even tried to butter me through helping a little boy to get his balloon back and then asking an ice cream. Of course I had to give in, and bought him an ice cream.

What!?

Can't believe it?

It's true!

Of course I can't speak dog language but it was clear enough for me to understand. He literally pointed towards the ice cream shop with its paw and whined! Cute Indeed!

There is an incident, a very funny one, that happened at school a day ago (of course I had that relapse of embarrassment again.....hmph!)

So it just happened....

I woke up in the morning dozing off in the middle as usual and my dog (yes! my Spikes) starting to cuddle in my legs and that was it,

I literally woke up...

I had a quick shower, changed my clothes, and quickly stuffed my breakfast into my mouth.

Looking at my dog, I quickly tied my shoelaces and was off to school.

It was little strange with me because I couldn't walk properly, I tried to walk as I walk normally but I felt like something pulling me out of blue.

And when I turned around to look but there was nothing significant but just a little fur on the floor. Nothing to care...

'HEY! WAIT FOR ME!'

I almost lost my bus in this mess!!!....

Hey! That wasn't funny?!...

I couldn't walk properly at all!

I was like,' Seriously? Is my other leg on the moon deliberately decreasing the weight?'...

When I reached the school everybody looked at me with a very strange look on their faces and some pointed on me.

Me, looking silly, replied that for some reason I couldn't walk properly today.

When I reached my class, my classmates started making strange expression and then suddenly I realized that the expression meant that they have seen something very adorable and cute. And the class echoed with the sounds of ,'SO CUTE!'

Which was more than annoying!....GRRRRR!.....

Suddenly, I heard loud barks behind me!

Which totally freaked the attitude of me!!!...

I literally jumped in fright and fell down and there was the answer to my question....

I, DUMBFOUNDED, LITERALLY SAW SPIKES!!!'

For a second I thought I was hallucinating, But that was real. Spikes was there, barking at my classmates that seemed strangers to him.

And the surprising fact was,

That I literally tied my shoelaces with Spikes' leash!

Which was the dumbest thing I did that day!...

The reason why I couldn't walk properly...

I really had a strong feeling right then.....As if Spikes had been greatly faithful than what I saw him today.

Just then my cousin entered into the classroom, and seeing me like that, she burst into laughter!...

Yeah, yeah... really funny....ughhhh!...

After wiping off the tears as my cousin laughed, she quickly hired a 'lost and found' transport for pets and Spikes was sent home. Our class started just after five minutes.

I couldn't help noticing some girls in my classroom, trying hard to control their laughter when the teacher entered the classroom.

So I just mumbled in my head...

'Whatever!'.....
