Edward and Bella immediately began to head home while the Cullen's did more research on Bella's pregnancy. What McKenna knew did help some, but they still needed to know things, like growth rate.

They were all worried for Bella. She could die any moment from the baby, and none of them knew how to take the information. Rosalie had grown to tolerate the awkward human. She still hated her lack of respect for mortality, but she knew that the brunette wouldn't be leaving any time soon, so Rosalie decided to at least tolerate her brothers blood singer.

Carlisle and McKenna love Bella as if she was their own daughter. They also love Edward as a son, so if Bella was to die due to keeping the hybrid baby, they didn't even want to think about what Edward would do.

Alice was focusing on both Bella's and the Volturi's futures. Bella's was starting to blur, which worried her. She took it as a sign of Bella being in danger. Jasper could feel everyone's emotions, they were piling on top of his own. Not only becaus Bella was still human and he could lose control any minute, but because the baby is half human. So when and if the baby is born, he might not have full control.

Emmett was worried, but he didn't show it. If he know's Bella, she will get through this part in her life, and she'll birth a beautifly baby. He was also excited to be an uncle, and is already planning words that he's going to teach a child. Words children shouldn't be saying.

Esme was stress cleaning. As usual. When she was taking breaks from researching, she was cleaning the way to clean house. It was her way of coping. She also loves Bella like one of her own, she's been there from when Edward brought her back to meet the Cullen's and immediately loved her. That might have something to do with her ability, but the point still stands.

McKenna and Carlisle were stood in the library, going through old books, trying to find something. Anything.

McKenna sighed, placing the book back onto the shelf. So far, nothing. They've found nothing. And it was frustrating the girl. She now wished tha she listened in to more of Aro, Caius and Marcus' conversation. But she left, not wanting to get caught.

McKenna hadn't even realised that she has zoned out, until Carlisle came and stood beside her. McKenna looked up at her mate, who getured outside.

"Edward and Bella are back," He spoke, grabbing her hand gently. McKenna nodded her head, letting Carlisle lead her out of the room to where Bella was.

She was in the livingroom, looking at the Cullen's waiting to hear what they found.

"How do you feel, Bella?" Carlisle asked her.

"I feel fine." She answered simply. "Did you find anything?"

"Not much, we only know what Mom told us," Alice told her softly.

McKenna looked at Bella, repeating what she knew.

"It will kill you, Bella. No doubt about it." Edward was about to say something. "Both of you should talk about this. It's not our decision whether you should keep the baby, or not."

Bella nodded at McKenna, a silent thank you for telling them what she knew, as well as saying it's her's and Edwards choice.

"We'll leave you guys to talk," Esme said politely, as the other Cullen's began to leave.

They all went and did their own things, Carlisle, Emmett and Rosalie going to see if they could find more information, Alice trying to look into Bella's future, Esme cleaning again.

Jasper walked outside, sitting down, thinking. McKenna followed him, and sat down beside him. They sat in silence for a moment.

"How you feeling?" McKenna asked him, knowing about his struggles.

"Honestly?" Jasper asked, not looking away from the tree he was staring intently at. "Everyone's emotions, and thrist is piling up. I'm distancing myself from Bella, not wanting to hurt her, or the child." He paused. "It's a lot, having this ability. The constant anger from Rosalie, the constant playful mood from Emmett, the happiness from Alice, the awkwardness from both Bella and Edward, worry from you, Carlisle and Esme." He sighed, glancing at McKenna, who was listening to every word he was saying. "Everyone's thirst for blood, as well as mine. I feel weak."

McKenna felt bad for Jasper. Not because of his ability. Because he thought he was weak.

"Jasper, you're far from weak. In all honesty, you're one of the strongest vampires I've ever met. It does take a lot for a vampire to hold that type of ability. It doesn't help that you 'grew up' on human blood and transfered to animal blood." McKenna started, recalling the moment when Jasper told her about how he grew up.

"But all the emotions building up? The thirst? It takes strength to not act on it all. A lot of strength." She moved her eyes to look up at the sky, the grey clouds covering the almost non-existent sun. Her mind shifted back to when she was in the Volturi.

"When I was with the Volturi, one of my friends. She was an empath like you. But she didn't have the strength that you do. To not act upon what you felt. Like you, she felt everyone's thirst. Everyone's emotions. She was angry. Took it out on everyone she saw. Her anger led to her thirst being so overpowered, that every human she came across, she sucked their blood dry. Her ability led her to her death." McKenna looked back at her son.

"The volturi killed her?" Jasper asked, and McKenna nodded.

"I was the one to find her in the state she was. In a hotel lobby, dead bodies surrounding. She was a liability to our world. As much as it pained me, I took her back to the volturi, letting Aro see what happened. He killed her in front of me."

"I'm sorry that happened." Jasper told her truthfully.

"Don't be, Jazz. It was bound to happen." She sighed. "Point is, you're stronger than you think, being able to hold off what we can, just ten times worse. Start giving yourself more credit. You're still here, alive. Well, as alive as you can be." McKenna joked, and Jasper smiled in amusement.

"Thanks mom. Seriously."

"It's no problem, Jazz. I'm always here if you need to talk." McKenna smiled at him before standing up and walking back inside.
