"So essentially you sneak out?" Emmett asked, a playful smirk plastered on his face.

"I guess you could call it that," She smiled at the teddy bear vampire.

"I'll walk you out," Carlisle said from beside her. She smiled and grabbed his hand, pulling him and herself up.

"Come by anytime you want, McKenna," Esme smiled at her.

The two mates walked out of the living room and towards the front of the house. They walked out the glass door onto the porch and McKenna turned to face Carlisle.

"See, I told you they'd love you," Carlisle told her, looking at his mate, studying her face.

"I should go," McKenna told her mate softly, a smile still spread across her face, pointing behind her. "I should tell Aro that I'm leaving the Volturi,"

Carlisle smiled back at the girl. "I'll meet you at the waterfall, be safe."

"What did I say?" McKenna asked, seeing Carlisle stood by the water. "I told you I'd be unharmed,"

"How much damage?" Carlisle asked her teasingly, wrapping his arms around her waist. McKenna smiled, wrapping her arms around his neck.

"Aro's ego is a bit busted. Caius might be dealing with a bit of trauma. Marcus is still Marcus, same with the guards. Jane's sad, even if she doesn't want to admit it,"

"Race ya," She told Carlisle who laughed before the two ran towards McKenna's new home. Now that McKenna knew the way, she had gotten there a minute or two before Carlisle and was leaning against the wall when he arrived.

"You're all right, for an old guy," She joked. McKenna squealed, when Carlisle picked her up.

"You're only a few years younger," Carlisle laughed as the two walked into the house.

"My point still stands,"

"McKenna!" The brunette heard, two arms wrapping around her, pulling her into a hug.

"Hey, Ally," McKenna laughed, hugging the girl back. When they last saw each other, McKenna had become really close to the Cullen's, especially Alice.

"I'm so happy you agreed, we need to go shopping," Alice told the girl, looping her arm into McKenna's as they began walking towards the others.

"Well, you're in luck. I actually need new clothes," She told the younger girl, who smiled happily.
